What an amazing milestone for our village—35 years of community, care, and connection is truly something special and a testament to everyone who has been part of this journey. A special thank you to Brett Robinson, Simon Fawssett, Ainslie White, Mary Matakitoga, Melissa Hamilton, and Wayne Matsinos for taking time out of their busy schedules to travel to Wagga and celebrate with us. To all of our dedicated staff—thank you for the compassion, commitment, and heart you bring every single day; your work does not go unnoticed. A very special thank you to Jo-Anne Kidman for being an outstanding Village Manager and for organising such a wonderful event,from speaking with several residents everyone had the best time,this really is a testament to the many many hours it took to organise this fantastic event. And finally, to our residents—thank you for being the heart and soul of Riverina Gums. Without you, our village simply wouldn’t be what it is today, and we will forever be grateful for what you bring to our lives everyday.

Friday night at the Community Centre did not disappoint! 🎶

Another round of toe-tapping magic lit up the community centre on Friday, all thanks to the amazing Cathy and Friends. And yes…. The whispers were true ! Ross finally snagged the spotlight he’s been chasing. He might not be ready for the smoke machine just yet, but after that performance… he’s definitely getting close!
John on the accordion was an absolute joy he had the kind of energy that makes you smile without even realising it. But the star of the night ? Cathy without a doubt. She had the whole room singing, swaying and soaking up every note she played! I hear she even had Jo and Mary singing and swaying along that’s a great achievement.

We can’t wait to do it all again next time !
