Here I am pictured with the Mako robotic total knee replacement application. It allows detailed CT based planning and can be used for kinematic alignment and virtual ligament balancing in total knee replacement surgery, reducing the need for soft tissue releases. I have now performed approximately 1600 Mako robotic hip and knee replacements.
