๐ŸŽจโœจโค๏ธToday was a very special day as the Artisans' Guild of Caboolture and District Inc. delivered their beautiful collection of artworks to Beaumont Care Wamuran. Inspired by local artist Jenny Cruice and her visits with her father, Stan Bellingham, a resident at Wamuran, The Beaumont Project has transformed our hallways with colour, creativity and connection.

These wonderful artworks will spark memories, inspire conversations and bring joy to residents, families and visitors for many years to come.

We are proud to announce the successful completion of Beaumont Careโ€™s ARIIA Flagship Project at our Kippa Ring facility, focused on strengthening frontline leadership and workforce capability in aged care.

The 12 month Australian Government funded project has seen us work with academic partners to co-design an intervention to address gaps in communication and coordination across care teams, while offering development pathways for existing staff.

โœ… Introduction and successful trial of a Team Leader role
โœ… Improved communication, role clarity and team coordination across the site
โœ… Enhanced staff capability, engagement and career pathways
โœ… Positive resident feedback and improved call bell response times

Following evaluation of our trial, Beaumont Care has permanently implemented the Carer Team Leader model at Kippa Ring, with plans to scale the model to other Residential Aged Care facilities.

We would like to advise residents, staff and families that the Australian Government will be conducting a national test of its AusAlert emergency system on ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ• ๐‰๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐š๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐ฉ๐ฆ.

AusAlerts use vibration, sound and on-screen messages to get your attention on compatible devices like mobile phones, tablets or smartwatches.
They look and sound different to an ordinary text message (SMS). Landlines may receive an AusAlert with spoken instructions.

During the AusAlert national test:
โ€ข a message will appear on your screen
โ€ข you will hear a loud siren sound for about 10 seconds
โ€ข you do not need to do anything.

Please be aware that the alert sound may be heard throughout our homes and community as residents, staff and visitors receive the test notification on their devices.

This is only a test of the emergency warning system and there is no cause for concern.
