Weโ€™re ๐’†๐’™๐’„๐’Š๐’•๐’†๐’… to share that our newly furnished laundry rooms are now open for residents who would like to wash and dry their own clothes or even do a spot of ironing. ๐Ÿ‘š๐Ÿ‘•

With access to onsite facilities, residents can take care of their own washing at any time if they choose, helping to maintain routine, dignity, and a sense of home ๐Ÿงบ

Weโ€™re proud to offer more choice and independence, supporting our residents to live life their way.

This week, weโ€™re putting a spotlight on the health and wellbeing of the men in our community.

We support our male residents to look after their health in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful to them, through opportunities to stay active, connect with others, enjoy time outdoors, and take part in activities that reflect their interests and life experiences. From shared conversations and group activities to time spent with our local Menโ€™s Shed, we create an environment where our male residents are supported to put their health and wellbeing front and centre.

Weโ€™re also proud of our dedicated male staff and the wider care team who play an important role in supporting our residents every day, building trusted connections, and helping create an inclusive environment that fosters independence and positive health and wellbeing outcomes.

Because looking after yourself isnโ€™t a big ask, it starts with one small step. ๐Ÿ’ช

To celebrate her adventure, we embraced a fun safari theme with our residents. There was plenty of laughter with โ€œPin the Trunk on the Elephant,โ€ lively themed music and exercise, and even a spot of dress-up to bring the spirit of Africa to life.
