Holistic living with essential oils

Holistic living with essential oils I share how I use essential oils and reduce toxins out of my family's life.

Swapping out the toxic products that have made my autoimmune disease come back and get back control of my health, both physical and mental well-being 🫶

Something about making your own dish cloth that is satisfying.
Not only is it 100% cotton, I also made it myself.

This also means I have taken time out for myself and my mental/brain health. I am reading so much lately about how knitting and crocheting is great for your brain health for the later years.

Small swaps, and you will make a big impact on you and your families health.

If you feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start. Start with the cleaning and laundry cupboard.

Things I have noticed since I started, less family illness, hayfever minimal, my thyroid has settled down, I just feel better.

If you have babies, toddlers, school age children, tweens and teens, perimenopausal or menopausal you need to watch your chemical load.

Simple DIY or non toxic cleaners are where you can start.

High quality essential oils helping as an effective tool for heart health, here is more information on the study.

Did you know that about 70% of adults aged 65 or older live with high blood pressure? As a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, managing hypertension is critical as we age—but the solution might be more natural than you think.

A fascinating clinical trial put the power of functional aromatherapy to the test. Researchers evaluated the effects of inhaling diffused lavender essential oil in men and women over the age of 60 who had diagnosed hypertension. To make things even more interesting, many of the participants in the study were dealing with real-world hurdles, including smoking habits and high-salt diets.

The results? Inhaling the lavender essential oil didn't just help them relax—it significantly reduced their blood pressure!

Here is what happened:
- 100% of participants who started with severe high blood pressure dropped down to moderate or mild levels.
- Nearly 20% of the participants saw their blood pressure return entirely to a completely normal range.

It turns out that a simple, non-pharmacological routine like diffusing high-quality essential oil can be an incredibly effective tool for heart health.

Why On Guard is one of our home staples.

As we move through perimenopause, we become more mindful about supporting our wellness and creating simple habits that work for our whole family.

On Guard is dōTERRA’s protective blend, made with Wild Orange, Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary essential oils.

It’s often used to help support a clean environment and healthy lifestyle habits; especially during those times of year when bugs seem to make the rounds through the house.

In our family, we love using it in the diffuser, in hand wash and cleaning products, and as part of our everyday wellness routine. I also love that one blend can have so many uses around the home.

For me, wellness isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about simple, consistent choices that support us through all of our hormonal changes and help care for the people I love, too.

Do you use On Guard in your home? Give this a ❤️

Correct-x, this little tube packs a big punch.
So many more uses, but just to name a few, it is skincare, first aid, but also packed with calming essential oils, so it's great to apply to your wrists when feelings get big.

Correct-x has gone to camp with my son, lives in my handbag, and I always have more than one on the go.

With the big guns all in one🌿

Frankincense
Helichrysum
Credarwood
Melaleuca (Tea Tree)
Lavender

Only needing a small amount as it spreads so far. One little tube that that replaces so many.
