Farewell, Dr Jia 💐

Today we say goodbye to Dr Jia, as she is finishing up at North East Family Medicine after successfully completing her RACGP training. She is now heading back to Singapore to be closer to her family.

The whole team wishes Dr Jia all the very best for the next chapter of her career and life.

We’re incredibly proud of all she has achieved and will certainly miss having her as part of our team!

Today we Welcome Dr Lexie Black to the NEFM Team!

Lexie graduated from Deakin University in 2019. She has worked across North East Victoria for the past six years, including in Wangaratta, Wodonga, and Benalla, and completed two years of advanced skills training in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Lexie is currently completing her GP registrar training through the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).

Her clinical interests include women’s health, particularly antenatal care, perimenopause and menopause care, and family planning. She also provides IUD insertions.

Outside of work, Lexie enjoys bushwalking, camping, pottery, and spending time with her flock of chickens.
