Please join us in welcoming our new Psychologist, Belinda! We are so excited for her to be joining our team!

Belinda is a Registered Psychologist (AHPRA) and Clinical Psychology Registrar who recently completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Newcastle. She has experience supporting children, adolescents, parents, and adults across community, mental health, and oncology settings, and remains actively involved in mental health research exploring the connection between physical and mental health.

Belinda is passionate about supporting families and creating a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

Her approach is compassionate and trauma-informed, with therapy tailored to each client’s individual goals and values. She draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Outside of her clinical work, Belinda loves spending time with her husband, children and fur babies. Belinda enjoys maintaining a fun and active lifestyle by spending time at the gym, biking and taking long walks.

We are so excited to have recently welcomed Megan into our team 👏🏼

Megan is a Registered Psychologist (AHPRA) currently completing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Newcastle who has a passion for research and evidence-based practice. She brings experience across both public and private settings including youth justice, community mental health, occupational rehabilitation, and private practice.

Megan’s experience provides a unique insight and understanding of all the systems within a young person’s world. Megan works with children, adolescents, and families using evidence based approaches such as
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and attachment focused interventions.

Megan is passionate about utilising a client-centred approach and holistic model of wellbeing to provide a safe space for clients of all ages to foster their growth and strengths. She has particular experience supporting young people with anxiety, trauma, disrupted attachment, emotional regulation difficulties, and adjustment concerns. Megan values collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care, and is passionate about supporting wellbeing of young people and their families.

Outside of study and work you will find Megan at the beach with her two French Bulldogs, horses, or nieces and nephews. Megan enjoys any outdoors activity and is often playing netball and tennis, hiking, at the gym, or lounging around reading a book.

✨ MEET THE TEAM ✨

Ashley is a Provisional Psychologist (AHPRA) who is currently completing her Masters in Clinical Psychology. Ashley has been working in the out of home care industry for a number of years and has developed a great appreciation for the unique experiences of parents, carers and young people. She has insights and empathy in relation to how the whole family system is impacted by the behavioural and relational challenges that they face.

Ashley has experience with cognitive behavioural (CBT) and treatment approaches. She also currently integrates elements of compassion, acceptance and commitment, dialectical behavioural and positive psychology into her treatment. Ashley enjoys working with children across a range of challenges including anxiety, attention difficulties, and emotion dysregulation, and has a particular interest in working with children with trauma and attachment related challenges.

Ashley loves to fit in a walk most days and will often get lost as she looks at the scenery. She also enjoys cooking, gardening and losing herself in good book.

When kids are dysregulated they are operating in a different part of their brain to normal. Learning how to respond to this is key to helping them not only get through the meltdown but also learn how to regulate their emotions more effectively next time.

✨ MEET THE TEAM ✨

Jordan is a Provisional Psychologist (AHPRA) who is currently studying his Masters in Clinical Psychology. In addition to his work as a provisional psychologist, Jordan is currently working with the Integrative Attachment Therapy Institute and Integrative Psychology and Medicine to design psychoeducation courses involving attachment repair, strategies for getting the most out of therapy, and the psychological skills necessary for world citizenship. He enjoys applying his experience in a clinical setting and is passionate about supporting children, teens and their families to flourish.

In 2019 Jordan completed his honours thesis on a parenting intervention for supporting children with anxiety or depression symptoms. Jordan has prior experience working as a high school teacher, school transformation trainer and consultant, surf coach, and international human rights advocate.

Outside of work, Jordan loves spending time in nature, meditating, surfing and writing music.
