Join me on a walk through The Fool's Journey and discover how each stage mirrors your own experiences, challenges and personal growth. Explore a grounded perspective on tarot, humanity and consciousness. Perfect for beginners and experienced tarot lovers alike.

This weekend, I'll be running a workshop and a stall at the Warrnambool Psychic & Wellbeing Expo! My 25-minute workshop, 'Understanding The Fool's Journey With The Freak', will be on both days. The workshop is free to attend, with $5 entry to the expo itself.

At The Freak, we don't believe in rote learning! This workshop will use the power of storytelling to demonstrate how tarot provides a philosophy of wisdom to guide us through life. Expect to see some familiar faces!

LOVE IS THE UNDERLYING PHILOSOPHY OF TAROT - but love is not what Western cultures believe (I will die on this hill)

Love is authenticity, compassion, courage, honesty. Love is confronting, ugly, beautiful, terrifying. Love is accountability. Love is choosing to grow. Love is recognising your connection to all beings. Love is treating your darkness with compassion. Love is recognising pain as a route to truth. Love is loyalty to truth. Love is the balance of all forces, internally and externally. Love is a VERB, not just a noun.

I know the word ‘love’ has become so devastatingly tainted with Disney distortion, capitalist corruption and love-and-light spiritual bypassing, but don’t let the appropriation of the word distract you from the true meaning of the concept. Western culture may have forgotten what love actually is, but the wisdom of tarot reminds us that love is the way ☯️

In my recent video about The Lovers card, I mentioned ‘living by the way of love’ - here’s a little more on what I mean by that, spoken through the Major Arcana cards of tarot.

Sometimes we already know what we should do. What we don't understand is why we keep doing the opposite.

Maybe it's “Why do I keep ending up here?”

This is my specialty - and where I believe tarot's greatest power lies.

I don't use tarot to predict your future or tell you what decision to make.
I use tarot as a tool for introspection - to look beneath the surface, recognise the patterns you're caught in, understand yourself more deeply and find a better way forward.

I'm not a fortune teller - you are!

I often see this Four of Cups energy in people who are dissatisfied with their lives but feel powerless (and perhaps reluctant) to change things. Sometimes we give up before we've really tried. Sometimes we're waiting for something to fall into our laps, or for someone else to tell us what to do next.

But the wisdom of tarot reminds us that getting to where we want to be is rarely effortless.

The essence of The Chariot is within all of us, giving us the willpower and determination to move forwards, should we choose to engage it.

The Magician awaits our realisation that everything we need to shape and direct our lives is inside us, ready to be activated.

And The Lovers reminds us that what is right for us isn't always what is easy, comfortable or convenient.

In my practice, I’m never going to tell you, “Next year you will start a business!”
Only you know when you’ll decide to put the effort into building one.

You’ll never hear me say, “Next month you will meet your future husband!”
Only you can address the commitment or attachment patterns that may be sabotaging new relationships.

And sure, sometimes luck is on our side, and not everything is in our control.
But you are not powerless.
Even at our lowest points, we still have choices.

So I don’t know when you're going to change your life.
Only you know that.

I am here to help you see your blind spots, understand your patterns, recognise your choices and move forward with greater self-awareness and self-trust.

I'm not here to tell you your future. I'm here to help you create it.
