At some point this week you're going to feel it.
Getting up off the couch. Picking something up. Rolling over in bed at 2am and noticing your back before the rest of you wakes up.
Floor work is the unglamorous answer to all of it.
Here's where to start:
McGill Curl โ lie on your back, one knee bent, one leg flat. Hands under your lower back to maintain its natural curve. Lift only your head and shoulders โ not a sit-up, not a crunch. 8 slow reps. Spinal control, not effort.
Modified Side Plank โ from your knees, not your feet. Elbow under shoulder, hips lifted, body in a straight line from knee to shoulder. Hold 5 seconds. 3 each side. Clean and controlled โ if the form goes, the hold ends.
Bird Dog โ on hands and knees, extend opposite arm and leg simultaneously. The goal isn't the reach. It's keeping your pelvis completely still while your limbs move independently of it. 5 each side. Slow.
Total time: under 10 minutes.
Do this three times this week and notice what changes. Not in the exercise โ in how you move through the rest of your day.
If you've been doing this for a while and it's not producing results, the programming needs a second set of eyes.
That's the appointment.

Move freely. Stay steady.
