Friday the 18th we are playing at the Greymare Hall! 🥂

Saturday the 26th we are playing at Warwick Cowboys RLFC 40th anniversary at the Warwick Turf Club 🤠

We hope to see you with your finest dancing shoes on! 💃 🪩 🕺

Our school-based trainees have been busy building their skills! 👏

This week they’ve been learning and practising shaving techniques using balloons 🪒🎈, along with correct bed making, applying pressure stockings and important infection control procedures.

It’s great to see them getting hands-on experience and growing in confidence along the way. 💙

We have some refurbishment works coming up, including improvements to the Northway Dining Room, roof repairs and hallway painting. 🛠️🎨

🦜 A Special Visit from Cocky Rocky! 🦜

We had a very special visitor today — Cocky Rocky the cockatoo! Our Lifestyle Officer Mel brought him in for a visit, as Rocky is her very own feathered friend. He was certainly full of character and kept everyone entertained! Our residents absolutely loved him, and the smiles say it all. 💕😊

Our monthly luncheon took us to Roses today! 🌹🍽️

A big thank you to the wonderful team at Roses for catering for us — we all had a great time. We also had an extra reason to celebrate with Harry’s birthday 🎉🎂, made even more special with a lovely visit from his daughter. ❤️

Happy Birthday, Harry! 🥳

🌍🦁 What a wild African Safari Day! 🐘🦒

Our residents had an absolute ball yesterday as we jumped in the jeep and travelled around the African safari! 🚙🌴 Along the way we learnt some fun facts and had a few surprise visits from some rather crazy safari animals! 😂🐒🦁

We enjoyed delicious mandazi – or “puff puff” as our Clinical nurse manager Godwin who is from Ghana would call it -for morning tea, Godwin joined us giving us a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the culture, traditions and way of life. 🇬🇭❤️

We finished with our Hungry Monkey Banana Balance Relay 🐒🍌 which took plenty of concentration and some very careful banana balancing! There was lots of cheering, laughter and determination to get those bananas safely to our hungry monkey.

Such a fun-filled safari adventure with plenty of smiles along the way! ❤️
