This National Stroke Week, 3–9 August 2026, there is one thing we want every Warwick resident to know.

Recognizing the signs of stroke early and acting quickly can be critical.

Remember FAST:
🔴 F — Face Drooping

Is one side of the face drooping or numb?
🔴 A — Arm Weakness

Is one arm weak or numb?
🔴 S — Speech Difficulty

Is speech slurred or hard to understand?
🔴 T — Time to Call 000

If you notice any of these signs, call 000 immediately.

Stroke prevention also starts long before an emergency. Managing blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, lifestyle factors, and family history with your GP can help support your long-term health.
