Some of the strongest people are carrying the heaviest chains.
Maybe you've told yourself, "I'll get it under control tomorrow." Maybe your addiction, alcohol, drugs, gambling, po*******hy, or another life-controlling issue has slowly stolen your peace, your relationships, your purpose, or even your hope. The truth is that what starts as something we think we control can eventually control us.
Take a moment and ask yourself:
Am I becoming the person I truly want to be?
Is my family seeing the best version of me?
If nothing changes, where will I be in 12 months?
You don't have to keep living the same story.
The incredible message of redemption is that no one is beyond God's reach. Brokenness is never the end of the story when it's placed in His hands. Jesus still changes lives. He still restores families. He still brings freedom where there once was bo***ge.

A Life That Pointed to Jesus – David Wilkerson

David Wilkerson was not a celebrity seeking fame or influence. He was an ordinary country pastor who simply chose to obey God, wherever that obedience led. In 1958, after seeing a newspaper article about a group of troubled teenagers in New York, he sensed God calling him to leave the comfort of his small-town church and take the hope of Christ into one of the world's toughest cities.

What followed was nothing short of extraordinary. Through God's power, hardened gang members, people trapped in addiction, and countless broken lives were transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Out of that obedience came Teen Challenge, a ministry that has helped hundreds of thousands of people around the world find freedom from addiction and discover new life in Christ.

David never claimed the glory for himself. His message remained unwavering: only Jesus Christ has the power to truly change a human heart. He constantly reminded people that programmes alone cannot save, willpower alone cannot heal, and religion alone cannot satisfy. Real transformation comes through surrendering to Jesus.

His life is a powerful reminder that God delights in using ordinary people who are willing to trust Him. David Wilkerson's legacy is not measured by the books he wrote, the sermons he preached, or the ministries he founded—it is measured by the countless lives that now glorify God because one man simply said, "Yes, Lord."

At Adult & Teen Challenge WA, we continue to stand on that same unchanging truth. There is hope. There is freedom. There is restoration. And all glory belongs to God alone.

We’ll be delivering it to ATCWA Head office 81 Ellersdale Ave, Warwick round lunchtime.
