Hi!

As we are looking down the barrel of 35- 40 + degree days next week, I thought it would be timely to remind all my clients of my summer bushfire policy

If a day is declared as "extreme" or "catastrophic", all my appointments are automatically cancelled, whether they are on properties, or at one of my small animal clinics.
I will attempt to contact everyone in advance to confirm this, but even if you don't hear from me, the appointment will be cancelled

In addition to this, days with a temperature of over 35 degrees may have appointments postponed to cooler days, especially those where I am working outside.
As always, any clients that are concerned about the temperature or weather in general, and wish to reschedule, can contact me in advance to discuss

Wishing all my clients, past & present, a safe and happy summer 🐾🐎πŸ₯°

Well, I didn't have a donkey or sheep in a stable, but I did have a goat in the clinic!

Chaos closed his eyes and relaxed back as he had a chiropractic treatment and taping applied, following the removal of his leg cast.
He fractured his right foreleg around 8 weeks ago. It has healed well, but now the soft tissue damage needs support to heal

I do hope this is true - and all other countries look at what they can do ( if not a full ban, then maybe a move to laser shows or silent fireworks) Tradition should not stop progress in animal welfare issues!
