New Blog Alert!

Persistent pain after a knee replacement doesn’t mean the surgery has failed. Around 15–20% of patients report ongoing pain following surgery (Beswick et al., 2012).

Pain is influenced by a combination of tissue, movement and nervous system factors, which means rehabilitation plays a key role. Physiotherapy focuses on restoring movement, building strength, and gradually increasing confidence through graded exercise and pacing.

Celebrating culture, community and connection. This NAIDOC Week, we are proud to support inclusive care and acknowledge the communities we serve.

We also acknowledge the artwork created by Christine Slabb (Bundjalung/ Yugambeah Artist), thoughtfully designed for our clinics. It reflects people coming together, with circles symbolising community, shared spaces, and our commitment to empathy, education, teamwork and care.

Training for an event? Are your joints, tendons, and muscles on the same page?

At Allsports, we use biomechanical screening and objective strength testing to find those weak links before they turn into a training-stopping injury.

Let’s get your body ready so you can cross that finish line feeling unstoppable.

While winter can increase joint stiffness, avoiding activity completely isn’t the answer.

It’s important to keep your joints warm and active, continue to strengthen your muscles, and manage any flare-ups appropriately.

If you struggle throughout cold weather, a physio may be able to help.

It feels like the last school holidays were just yesterday, but they're here again!

This is our reminder to drive safely on the roads if you’re going away, and stop for regular breaks to have a stretch.

Your back will thank you!

If you’ve caught the sniffles or a full-blown cold, consider this your opportunity to take it easy with exercise.

Picking running shoes can feel harder than it needs to be.

Carbon plates, max cushioning, stability shoes, minimalist shoes, there’s a lot out there.

A good place to start?

Choose something comfortable, suited to your goals, and easy to build your running in gradually.

More cushioning doesn’t automatically mean fewer injuries, and carbon shoes aren’t needed for every run.

Unsure what’s right for you? Have a chat with your physio.
