She almost didn't book.

The crowd went absolutely wild.

(Hands. Happy voices. Pure chaos. Exactly how it should be.)

This was the Worm Olympics one of my favourite events of the year. Kids learning about composting, sustainability, and the very serious business of worm racing.

Less screen time. More green time. Always. 🌱

She said no child is never alone.

I was sitting in a First Nations cultural awareness session during Learning Festival week.

And something shifted in me quietly.

In their culture…

Even if you are an only child…

You have brothers and sisters.

You don't just have one mother or father.

You have several.

So when someone needs to leave work to care for a parent…

We think they're asking for time off.

They're just being family.

We have so much to learn from this.

I walked out of that room quieter than I walked in.

Not sad.

Just fuller.

Because somewhere along the way, so many of us forgot what it means to truly belong to each other.

To be held by a community so wide

That loneliness doesn't have anywhere to take root.

The Yarra Valley Plant Fair & Garden Expo is proud to support the incredible work of The Kids With Cancer Foundation Australia.

Every year, around 1,000 Australian children are diagnosed with cancer. The Kids With Cancer Foundation provides practical support to families through financial assistance and Care Packs, funding hospital services and vital childhood cancer research that helps improve treatments and outcomes for children across Australia and more.

Throughout the weekend, you can help support this wonderful cause by:

🍓 Purchasing delicious locally made cakes, jams and fresh strawberries

🎟️ Buying tickets in our giant raffle for the chance to win plants, gardening tools, supplies and loads of fantastic prizes, kindly donated by our stallholders!

She came in saying she didn't even know where to start.

She wasn't unwell. She wasn't in crisis. She just felt foggy. A bit lost. Unsure what her body or her mind actually needed.

We did a ZYTO scan together.

And something shifted for her in that 90 minutes not because I told her what was wrong, but because her body got to tell her.

She left with a report, a rollerball, and a quiet sense of direction she hadn't felt in a while.

That's what this work is for. Not fixing. Not diagnosing. Just helping you hear yourself again.

Well, what a week that was. 🌿

Another Wyndham Learning Festival done, and honestly, I enjoyed every single moment of it.

The last couple of days I have spent quietly in my garden. Just pottering, just breathing, just letting it all settle. But gardens have a way of giving you space to think, don't they.

And I have been thinking a lot.

There were so many events I attended this year. Some of them touched me deeply. Some taught me things I didn't expect. I will be sharing those moments with you over the coming weeks because some things are too good not to pass on.

But the thing that stayed with me most?

Watching people step up and present their business for the first time.

So many new faces this year. So much courage in that room. And they were brilliant. Professional, prepared, and genuinely proud of what they have built.

That never gets old. Not for me.
