Pablo has had the opportunity to witness how these services have transformed his and others' lives first hand. This has given him a passion to help others

and is the driving force behind Living Dreams Disability Services. Hi everyone,
My name is Pablo, and I’m the founder of Living Dreams Disability Services here in West End.

I’ve lived my whole life with Autism, severe depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Like many others, I went well into my 30s undiagnosed, without the understanding, support, or safe space I desperately needed growing up.

For a very long time, I felt like I had to constantly “mask” who I was just to fit in. I know what it feels like to walk into places and feel judged, misunderstood, or like you don’t fully belong.

Four years ago, I decided to create the kind of place I once wished existed for me.

That’s how Living Dreams was born.

Not just another clinic or disability service, but a space where people can feel safe, accepted, understood, and genuinely cared for. A place where people can let their guard down and simply be themselves without fear of judgement.

Over the years, I’ve been incredibly lucky to build a small team of Psychologists and Occupational Therapists who share the same vision and passion. Many of us have our own neurodiverse lived experience, and we work together every single day to support our community with empathy, understanding, and genuine care.

One of the things I’m most proud of is that when someone comes to Living Dreams, they’re not just getting the support of one therapist, they’re benefiting from the shared knowledge, compassion, and lived experience of our entire team.

I’m usually the person quietly working in the background, but I wanted to introduce myself because people often ask why we do things differently at Living Dreams.

The truth is… it’s because many of us know firsthand what it feels like to not have the support we needed.

And we never want others to feel alone in that journey.

If you or someone you care about is struggling and needs support, please know you’re always welcome to reach out. Even if it’s just for a conversation.

❤️

Top tips for parents this Safer Internet Day!

▪️Start with conversations, not rules -
Ask what they like to watch, play, or follow online. Regular chats build trust and make it easier for kids to speak up when something feels wrong.

▪️Use parental controls -
Most devices, apps, and games have built-in parental controls. They can help manage screen time, block inappropriate content, and keep personal info private.

▪️Guide, don’t spy - Let kids know you’re there to support them, not monitor every click. Being involved without being intrusive helps them build safe online habits.

🌱 Parenting Together: A Learning Journey 🌱

Parenting a child with autism, ADHD or big emotions can feel overwhelming at times — and you’re not meant to do it alone.

This is an 8 weeks program, created and facilitated by our team of psychologists and OTs. It's designed for parents of children aged 5–12 years (developmentally) who want practical tools, deeper understanding, and genuine support in a safe, non-judgemental space.

✨ Over 8 weeks, you’ll:
• Better understand your child’s behaviour and emotions
• Learn why meltdowns happen and how to respond with confidence
• Build stronger communication and connection with your child
• Support emotional regulation, self-esteem, and independence
• Reduce family stress, feel more empowered as a parent
• Connect with other parents who truly get it

This isn’t about “fixing” your child — it’s about understanding them, supporting them, and feeling more confident in your parenting journey.

📅 Starts: Wednesday 4 March (weekly)
⏰ Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm
📍 Location: 199 Montague Road, West End
👩‍⚕️ Facilitated by our experienced Psychologists and Occupational Therapists

If you’ve been feeling unsure, exhausted, or just wanting better tools and support — this program was created for you 💛
