🏀 "I've seen what it feels like to walk into spaces where you don't fully feel like you belong.

"And I've also seen the power of what happens when you do."

That’s why elite basketballer Nya is setting the standard across the game - from local clubs to the national leagues. Nya knows that when people feel they belong, they thrive.

No one should be denied the benefits community sport brings because of racism.

Every coach and every club can make a difference through small, everyday actions.

That’s why we’re so proud to be partnering with Basketball Victoria to deliver Set The Standard – equipping sport leaders to create safer environments where everyone feels they belong.

Want free, practical tips and tools to kick off positive change in your community sport space? 🛠️

Turns out Dolly wasn’t singing about a baddie trying to take her man. She just wanted us to get the DL on protein 💛

We're bombarded with marketing telling us that we “need” protein shakes, bars and cookies – but Dolly knows it’s a load of *ahem* bulldust.

Swipe for the low down on how you can get plenty of protein with foods sitting quietly in your fridge and pantry. Plus they’re healthier for you and your wallet!

Thanks Dolly – Jolene could never.

NAIDOC Week is here! ❤️🖤💛

A week to celebrate the strength, culture and leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year's theme, 50 Years of Deadly, marks an incredible milestone for First Nations communities across Victoria and Australia.

As Victoria continues its Treaty journey, we're committed to listening, learning and supporting First Nations leadership and community-led action.

This week, we encourage you to make time to celebrate, learn and connect. Visit the NAIDOC Week website to find an event near you.

Happy NAIDOC Week.

VicHealth is asking you to soil your un**es. For science. It’s totally legit.

is a fun science experiment from our Local Partnerships for Food First pals Bass Coast South Gippsland Food System Alliance and Grow Lightly that helps you discover how alive your soil really is.

Here’s how to do it:

-Bury an old pair of 100% cotton un**es.
-Dig them up in 8 weeks.
-Healthy soil = mostly gone!🥕🌾

Why does this matter?

Because healthy soil grows healthier food. When soil is rich in life and nutrients, it supports stronger crops, better local produce and more resilient food systems for our communities.

Get your hands dirty with this experiment at home, school, or as a community group. To find out more, head to https://www.growlightly.com.au/post/soil-your-un**es

Got a gym? You might be one small change away from making it work for someone who's been waiting to walk in.

Most young people with disability who want to be active aren't held back by motivation. They're held back by whether the space around them is set up to help.

The good news: the fixes are simpler than you'd think.

Swipe through to learn about eight simple fixes any gym can make, and get free resources – thanks to GYM-SPARC.
