Meet Dr Vanessa El-Achi 💜

With a strong background in high-risk obstetrics, fetal medicine and diagnostic ultrasound, Dr El-Achi brings a depth of clinical experience to the care of women throughout pregnancy.

Her work is also closely connected with research, with a particular focus on preterm birth and improving outcomes for mothers and babies.

Founder of CFWU and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist with more than 30 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Diagnostic Ultrasound and high-risk pregnancy care.

✨ Dr Batool Nadim
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and tertiary-level ultrasound scans.

✨ Dr Zain Battikhi
Obstetrician and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist providing compassionate, evidence-based care for complex and high-risk pregnancies.

A closer look at your baby in 3D 🤍

See your baby’s developing features in beautiful detail and enjoy a special moment of connection before they arrive.

At CFWU, our 3D and 4D baby scans are available from 26 to 33 weeks, using advanced ultrasound technology and staff specially trained in these techniques.

Diagnosed with gestational diabetes? Regular growth scans can help monitor how your baby is growing and provide reassurance throughout your pregnancy 🤍

Every pregnancy is different, so it is important to follow the personalised care plan recommended by your obstetrician or diabetes specialist. This may include nutrition changes, blood sugar monitoring or medication to help support healthy fetal growth.

Your doctor may also recommend regular growth scans from around 28 to 32 weeks, often every two to four weeks, to monitor your baby’s growth and amniotic fluid levels.
