Your first birth doesn’t have to define your next. 🤍

One of our favourite parts of baby expos is hearing the honest conversations between mums.

This time, it was about reflecting on a first birth, thinking about what worked, what didn’t, and choosing tools that might help create a different experience next time.

For one mum, that meant deciding to hire an Elle TENS so she could feel more supported and prepared heading into labour.
There’s something really empowering about taking what you’ve learned and approaching your next birth with confidence.

Thank you for sharing your story with us, we’re so honoured to be a small part of your journey. 🤍

If you’re hiring an Elle TENS, choosing to hire directly from us means you’ll receive genuine, authorised electrodes and accessories designed specifically for your device, helping give you extra peace of mind as you prepare for birth.

One of the biggest questions we get asked...
“Should I save my Elle TENS until labour gets really intense?”
Our answer?
🤍 No.

One of the best things you can do is put your Elle TENS on early in labour and start on a low intensity.
This gives your body time to get used to the sensation, so as your contractions build, you can gradually increase the intensity and use the boost button when you need it.

It’s also one of the most common pieces of advice we hear from mums after they’ve given birth:
“I wish I’d put it on even earlier.”

Every labour is unique, so always follow the guidance of your midwife or healthcare team, but if you’re planning to use an Elle TENS, don’t wait until contractions become overwhelming before getting started. 🤍

“If I could give one piece of advice... put your Elle TENS on as soon as your contractions start.” 🤍

This beautiful mum shared that using her Elle TENS helped her labour confidently at home, staying in the comfort of her own space until it was time to head to hospital.
She loved being able to gradually increase the intensity as her labour progressed, with the boost button becoming her best friend through every contraction.

Every labour is different, but one tip we hear time and time again is to start using your Elle TENS early. That way, your body has time to get used to the sensation before your contractions become more intense.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful birth story with us. We love hearing how mums make the Elle TENS part of their journey. 🤍

Sometimes the biggest difference isn’t less pain, it’s feeling more in control. 🤍

Cassie shared that after a long first labour, she went into her second birth feeling anxious about what was ahead.
Using an Elle TENS during labour at home gave her something to focus on through each contraction, and she even found herself dancing through them with the boost button while her partner took on the important job of pressing it.

We also love hearing that our simple hire and return process helped make life with a newborn just that little bit easier.

Thank you, Cassie, for trusting us to be part of your birth journey and for sharing your beautiful photo and story with us. Reviews like yours mean so much to our whole team. 🤍

Period pain calls for a little extra self-care. 🤍

For many women, that means slowing down, running a warm bath, and reaching for their Elle TENS Plus.

💗 A quick reminder: Your Elle TENS should never be used in the bath or shower. Simply remove your device and electrodes before getting into the water, then pop it back on afterwards if you need continued relief.

It’s a simple way to combine the comfort of a warm bath with the support of your TENS, just not at the same time.

If you’re packing your hospital bag, here’s one item you’ll be so glad you packed... 🤍

A peri bottle.

It’s one of those postpartum essentials that many mums don’t think about until after birth.

Using warm water can help make those first trips to the bathroom a little more comfortable, especially if you’ve had a vaginal birth or stitches.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference during recovery.

If you’re still packing your birth bag, pop a peri bottle on your checklist, you’ll thank yourself later. 🤍

Sometimes it’s the simplest tools that make the biggest difference. 🤍

Our massage roller is a favourite at baby expos, and it’s easy to see why.
✨ Roll over your lower back, shoulders or wherever you’re feeling tension.
✨ A great way for your birth partner to stay involved during labour.
✨ Perfect to pop into your hospital bag alongside your other birth essentials.

Bonus? They often become a favourite after birth too... although we’ve heard more than a few partners have claimed them as their own! 😂

Have you packed a massage roller in your birth bag?
