Lake in the Sacral Chakra
Soften • Receive • Belong
Today, this one feels personal.
I’ve needed to run Lake in the Sacral Chakra as I move through my own journey of reconnecting with siblings I haven’t seen for some time.
There are histories in the room.
Old tensions.
Past interactions that still hang heavy in the air.
And yet, beneath that, something softer is present.
A willingness to meet again.
To see forward.
To let gentleness have a place.
To allow connection to return without forcing it to look like it once did.
Through the Embodied I Ching lens, Lake invites receptivity, softness, reflection, and the capacity to receive. Paired with the Sacral Chakra, it speaks to belonging, social identity, tribe, emotional flow, and the tender places where fear or grief may have shaped how we connect.
This is not about pretending the past did not happen.
It is about asking whether something new can gather now.
A softer breath.
A kinder exchange.
A little more room for repair.
A little less need to defend.
And perhaps this is not only personal.
As so much of the wider world feels pulled toward separation, fear, financial pressure, political noise, and constant division, many of us are being invited into a different kind of strength — one that remembers we are relational beings.
We do not heal alone.
We soften together.
We learn to receive again.
We remember belonging.
💧 Micro-Coaching
Which relationships — with family, community, tribe, or environment — are presenting now and asking for reconnection, gentle nurturing, and subtle energetic embrace?
What softens when I let fear and grief move, rather than hold it alone?
🌊 Micro-Movement — Water Waves
Place your hands at the lower belly.
Begin to let the body soften into a gentle wave.
Allow the hands to pass through the air as though moving through soft waves on a lake.
Let a slow twisting motion spiral through the pelvis, spine, and whole body.
Practice for 2 minutes with easy breath, allowing held emotion to move without needing to explain it.
👐 Micro-Ritual
Place both hands below the belly.
Take 3 slow breaths into the sacral space.
Feel an inner lake of softness gathering support within.
Affirm:
It is safe to soften, receive, and belong.
Ask:
How can I receive support today?
Lake in the Sacral reminds me that reconnection does not need to be rushed.
Sometimes the practice is simply to arrive softer than before, and allow the next honest moment to meet us there.
