🐝 Out at Rippleside, one of our awesome participants spent the day by the water, watching fish glide beneath the surface and spotting a sneaky stingray cruising past like it owned the place.
It’s not just an outing, it’s confidence growing, curiosity sparking, and independence taking shape in the sunshine.
This is what support looks like, meeting the world, one ripple at a time 🐝

We believe that a pwd should be fully included in community and have independence in daily living, and we’re here to help. We are a collective of musicians, artists, writers, educators, travellers, farmers, surfers and human rights advocates. We help you go where you feel most alive!
Our staff bring their own professional and life experiences to their role as your support worker.
Whether you have an individual passion you want to pursue, want support in your home, or need assistance to access the community, our staff are consistent and passionate and can support you to reach your goals.

🐝 Sometimes everyone needs a little breather, and that’s where respite comes in. ☀️

At Honey Hive Disability Supports, our wonderful support worker bees step in so everyone can have a rest. Participants get the chance to enjoy time out in the community, while families and carers can recharge knowing their loved one is supported, safe, and having a great time.

From sunny outings to relaxed catch-ups, our team is always buzzing around to make respite feel comfortable, fun, and supportive for everyone involved. 💛 🐝

🐝 Meet Isla, one of our wonderful support worker bees here at Honey Hive Disability Supports.
Here’s a little bit about Isla in her own words:

Hi! I’m Isla, and I’ve been with Honey Hive since March 2023. I’m super passionate about assisting people who need a little extra support in their lives to be as independent as possible and to reach their goals. I hold a Cert III in Individual Support, and before working in disability, I briefly worked as a PCA in aged care. I’m an absolute animal nut and have two sooky Labradors that I’m obsessed with. I enjoy watching movies (especially horror) and reading classic fiction when I manage to find the time. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and support you! 🐝

🐝 ZUCCHINI NOODLES!!

Our lovely client Stormy is building confidence in the kitchen by making homemade zucchini noodles from scratch! From prepping the veggies to proudly showing off the final product, this is what growing independence and trying new things looks like.

New skills, fresh flavours, and plenty of proud moments along the way. 💛🐝

🐝 Kerry is one of the incredible participants we’re proud to support, and here he is doing what he does best at the Queenscliff Maritime Museum ⚓

Through the right support and an accessible, welcoming environment, Kerry volunteers weekly and plays an active role in his community. This is what meaningful inclusion looks like - building confidence, gaining skills, and contributing in a space that’s safe and supportive.
