💚 A little reminder — our Carer Support Workshop is happening TOMORROW NIGHT!

Caring for someone else can be incredibly meaningful, but it can also be exhausting, overwhelming and easy to lose yourself along the way.

Our Looking After Yourself While Caring for Others workshop is a supportive space designed specifically for carers to stop, reflect and focus on their own wellbeing for a change.

🌿 We’ll explore: ✨ Recognising stress, burnout & compassion fatigue
✨ Letting go of the guilt around self-care
✨ Creating healthy boundaries
✨ Building your support network
✨ Practical stress-management strategies
✨ Creating a realistic personal wellbeing plan

Because you cannot continually pour from an empty cup — and looking after yourself is part of caring, too.

📅 Tomorrow night — Tuesday 8 September
📍 Recovery Solutions Counselling, Wodonga

There’s still time to join us! 💚

As we finish up for the term, we can’t help but reflect on just how much growth we’ve had the privilege of witnessing.
Brick Club is about so much more than building with LEGO®. It’s a space to practise connection, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, flexibility, sharing ideas and navigating friendships — all while doing something fun and engaging.
Across the term, we’ve watched participants become more confident in expressing themselves, joining in with others, working through challenges, negotiating different ideas and building connections in their own unique ways.
Some of the biggest moments of growth can look incredibly small from the outside — initiating a conversation, asking to join in, coping when a build doesn’t go to plan, compromising on an idea, helping someone else, or simply feeling comfortable enough to be yourself within the group. 🌱
These are the moments we notice.
We are incredibly proud of every participant and genuinely honoured to be able to watch their social confidence and skills grow and develop each term.
To our Brick Club participants — thank you for bringing your creativity, personalities, ideas and incredible builds each week. You are what makes Brick Club such a special place. 🥰
And to the parents and carers who trust us to support your young people — thank you for allowing us to be a small part of their journey.
Until next term… keep building, creating and connecting!
