The threads didn't change.

The pattern did.

The body is constantly weaving together information from movement, posture, stress, sleep, breathing and daily life.

What we notice on the surface is often only part of a much larger pattern underneath.

One of the things Bowen Therapy students learn is to look beyond isolated symptoms and become curious about connections.

Because sometimes understanding the pattern can be just as important as noticing the thread.

🍃 Sacred Pause 🍃

I created Sacred Pause because I see how much people are carrying.

Work. Family. Expectations. Constant noise. Always needing to be somewhere, fix something or take care of somebody.

Even when we stop physically, our minds and bodies don’t always know how to stop with us.

For five Thursday evenings in October, I want to offer you somewhere you don’t have to perform, achieve or look after anyone else.

A space where you can lie down, breathe and simply be supported.

I’ll guide you through gentle Yin Breathwork, with Sound Healing woven into selected sessions using instruments such as crystal and Himalayan bowls, gong, medicine drum, rav drum, flute, rattle and voice.

You don’t need any previous experience. You don’t need to arrive feeling calm. You only need a willingness to pause.

Nine of the twelve places have already been taken, leaving three available.

If something in you is quietly saying, “I need this,” I invite you to listen.

WHY A FIVE-WEEK JOURNEY?

We often expect ourselves to undo months—or sometimes years—of stress in a single evening.

But the body doesn’t always work that way.

Sacred Pause has been created as a five-week journey because gentle, consistent practice gives you time to become comfortable with the breath, notice your patterns and explore each session without pressure.

Week by week, you’ll be invited to:

🌿 Slow down and reconnect with your body
🌿 Explore gentle conscious connected breathing
🌿 Create space away from everyday responsibilities
🌿 Experience deep rest and restoration
🌿 Become more familiar with what helps you feel grounded
🌿 Receive selected Sound Healing experiences throughout the journey

Rather than attending once and returning immediately to the busyness of life, you’ll have a dedicated pause waiting for you every Thursday evening throughout October.

Five weeks. Ten hours. One small, closed group.

Two Medicine Drums that went to their forever homes today

On the left - 16” drum - Fallow Deer ( male ) and Tassie Blackwood Hoop( hoop from Wolf Drums & Flutes )
On the right - 16” drum - Red Deer ( male ) and Pine Hoop ( hoop from Wolf Drums & Flutes )

Both hides hand scrapped by myself with no chemicals used in their creation.
Both hoops steam bent in the traditional way by a master craftsman and who I consider the best trad drum maker in Australia, such an honour to use these hoops and birth some potent medicine tools with them as well.

Always an honour to get to birth medicine tools for someone and I hope they bring lots of healing not only for their new owners but the people they work with as well 🙏
