NDIS Participants Invited to Help Shape the Future of NDIS Planning – Paid Opportunity
The NDIA is inviting NDIS participants to take part in testing a new approach to NDIS planning before it is introduced from April 2027.
Testing will take place between July and December 2026, with expressions of interest open until 31 December 2026. Participants who are selected will be paid for their time and contribution through NDIS Engage.
The updated planning approach aims to make the process easier to understand, more transparent and more flexible. It is expected to include longer plan periods, clearer information and fewer plan reviews.
Feedback from people with lived experience is important to ensure the new planning process reflects the different needs, backgrounds and circumstances of NDIS participants.
