A throw back to late last year when my husband went ALL in on his preconception work for our fertility journey after my miscarriage in September 2026.

Every morning he started with a smoothie combo of 2–3 pieces of fruit, 1 veggie, chia seeds, protein, milk & yoghurt.

We’ve both started ZinZino Balance Oil, a premium omega-3 + polyphenol product I swear tastes like a little drizzle of olive oil on your smoothie. It’s all about supporting cell health and balancing omega-6:3 ratios.

On top of that, he took about 6 supplements tailored to his SPECIFIC needs.

My husband also upgraded his underwear (yes, just one pair at first… then he had a pair for every day of the week 😂).

He reduced his alcohol significantly since the miscarriage and we only drink filtered tap water.

I overhauled our home: low-tox laundry, hand soaps, and cleaning products to keep everything EDC-free (something a lot of people don’t realise is impacting their fertility!).

It’s not glamorous, but these small, intentional changes are all science backed and our way of creating the healthiest environment possible for conception and pregnancy.

I see SO many clients who wish they’d invested in nutrition earlier. They wish their doctor had recommended it, or they wish they’d got in contact.

What’s your choice gonna be?

Some of my individual treatments included:

✅ testing my vaginal microbiome initially after the D&C and several rounds of antibiotics

✅ re-testing after my treatment plan

✅ using strain specific oral and internal probiotics that contained all 3 strains- “L. Crispatus, L. Rhamnosus, L, Reuteri”

✅ using specific herbs for my dysbiotic and overgrown Streptococcus and Prevotella species like Allicin (garlic), EGCG (green tea) and Berberine

✅ taking an oral probiotic to support like LGG

and being mindful of targeting internal probiotics with hormonal shifts and oestrogen is an important player in supporting a healthy reproductive microbiome!

Every plan is individual and should be directed by an experienced clinician 🙏
