Hey friends,

Motor Neurone Disease has become so prevalent right now and our family was not who I would have thought to be effected by this.We have always had incredibly strong immune systems, rarely at the doctors.

In the last few years my mum has had and recovered from lymphoedema and now dad has been correctly diagnosed after receiving an incorrect diagnosis for 18 months. MND is now very prevalent in our family. The amount of equipment , physio, massage etc that is required is insane and ever changing. Mum and dad , rather than renovating their apartment bathroom are now buying a new home that is being built with what dad needs to be accessible in a chair and whatever comes after that. He has three daughters that are available for appointments and getting here and there so he is lucky, and also he seems to have the slow moving strain, his started in his foot as opposed to higher extremities that are extremely aggressive.

Family time is more important now as we build memories for a day when Dad is no longer with us.

We are walking for MND Sunday 13th September to raise money for a cure. If you can please donate to this cause (LINK BELOW)for this treacherous disease. It won’t save our Dad but hopefully in the future we can kick MND’s butt 💕 Or alternatively share this page onto yours 💕
