Wollongong Diagnostics is proud to support this year’s Taj Mahal Gala Night as a Platinum Sponsor.
The event is one that means a great deal to our team, particularly Dr Arunima Gupta, who is one of the main organisers and has been closely involved through her personal commitment to the local community.
As part of our support, Wollongong Diagnostics is also contributing a Wellbeing Imaging package to the live auction, in collaboration with Phoenix Health Co.
The package brings together advanced diagnostic imaging from Wollongong Diagnostics with movement, recovery and health support from Phoenix.
Aru said the Gala was an opportunity to bring the community together while raising funds for organisations doing important work across the Illawarra.

A great night for the Wollongong Diagnostics team at Saturday’s Health Professionals Dinner at Groundz Precinct in Dapto.
It was a chance to catch up with colleagues from across the local health sector, talk about what’s happening in healthcare across the Illawarra and spend some time with NSW Health Minister Ryan Park, Member for Shellharbour Anna Watson MP and Federal Member for Whitlam Carol Berry.
Thanks to everyone involved in putting the night together. It was great to see so many people from across our local health community in the one room.

Congratulations to Dr Jayesh Gohil and the cardiac team at Wollongong Private Hospital on an important milestone for cardiac care in our region. ❤️
Dr Gohil and the team have completed the hospital’s first procedures using Volt Pulsed Field Ablation technology to treat heart rhythm disorders — a first for a Ramsay Health Care hospital in NSW.
We’re also delighted that Dr Gohil will be joining us as one of the expert panellists at Wollongong Diagnostics’ upcoming Matters of the Heart cardiac education evening.
It’s fantastic to see this level of cardiac expertise and innovation happening right here in the Illawarra.

In a major milestone for our cardiac team, we have become the first Ramsay Health Care hospital in NSW to complete our first Volt Pulsed Field Ablation procedures to treat heart rhythm disorders.

Performed by Dr Jayesh Gohil, the technology uses targeted electrical pulses to treat abnormal heart tissue.

Combined with the EnSite X Cardiac Mapping System, Dr Gohil and the team can create highly detailed maps of the heart's electrical activity, which can result in better precision when identifying the source of abnormal heart rhythms and faster recovery for patients.
