🎳🏆 A Huge Achievement for Mathew! 🏆🎳

Mathew has been putting his bowling skills to the test, travelling away to compete in tournaments - and bringing home some incredible results!

Bowling is much more than just a weekly activity for Mathew - it’s a sport he genuinely loves and is passionate about. It’s fantastic to see him having opportunities to take that passion further, travel to competitions and challenge himself against other bowlers.

These results are a reflection of the time, effort and dedication Mathew continues to put into his bowling, and he should be incredibly proud of what he’s achieved.

🎳 Friday Fun at Ten Pin Bowling! 🎳

Our Day Program crew - Jason, Rhyse, Brett, Greg and Tori - wrapped up another week with one of their Friday favourites, ten pin bowling! 💙

Supported by Bel and Grace, the group enjoyed plenty of friendly competition, encouragement, laughs and, of course, celebrating each other's best shots along the way. 🎉

While bowling is always a great opportunity to get out into the community, stay active and build confidence, some of the most important moments happen between the games. The conversations, jokes, encouragement and genuine connections shared between our participants and staff are what make outings like these so special.

Building positive and trusting relationships is such an important part of providing meaningful support. When participants feel comfortable, valued and supported by the people around them, it creates an environment where they can be themselves, have fun and feel a genuine sense of belonging. 💙

We love seeing the wonderful bonds our team continues to build with Jason, Rhyse, Brett, Greg and Tori - and judging by these happy faces, another Friday at the bowling alley was a success! 🎳😊✨

🎶🎤 Music, Smiles & a Great Day in Kiama! 🎤🎶

Brett enjoyed a fantastic outing to Kiama with support from Nik, heading along to the Music Makers concert for a day filled with music, entertainment and plenty of fun! 💙

It was wonderful to see Brett enjoying the atmosphere, listening to the performances and making the most of another great community outing.

Music is such a wonderful way to bring people together, encourage self-expression and create moments of pure enjoyment - and Brett certainly looked like he was having a great time! 🎵😊

💪💇‍♀️ Hard Work Followed by a Little Pampering! 💇‍♀️💪

Earlier this week, Tori put in the hard work completing her physio session, staying focused and committed to working towards her goals. We always love seeing Tori giving things her best and continuing to build her strength, mobility and confidence. 💙👏

After all that hard work, it was time for a well-deserved treat! Tori headed off with Nik to get her hair done by the wonderful Taylah. ✨💇‍♀️

🏡💙 What’s Been Happening This Weekend? 💙🏡

It’s been a busy weekend at one of our homes, with plenty of outings, laughter, dancing and fun!

💃 Tony has been having an absolute ball, enjoying a boogie at home with Grace and showing off some of his best moves! He also headed out into the community with Taimani for a refreshing, crisp Coke - sometimes it’s the simple things that make the best outings! 🥤😄

🚀 Jake was very excited to show off his awesome new Buzz Lightyear hoodie - and we have to say, he’s looking pretty cool! To infinity and beyond! 💚💜

🕹️ Melissa has also been enjoying her respite stay, including a fun outing where she got to try her luck on the claw machines! Respite is all about creating positive experiences, enjoying time in the community and making sure each stay is filled with activities that are meaningful and enjoyable for the individual.

From dancing in the lounge room to community adventures and showing off new outfits, we love seeing our participants feeling happy, comfortable and enjoying their weekend their way. 💙✨

🥤😊 A Sweet Treat for Tony! 😊🥤

Yesterday, Tony enjoyed a lovely one-on-one outing in the community with support from Grace. 💙

One of the highlights of the day was stopping for a delicious strawberry milkshake - one of Tony's favourite treats! 🍓🥤 It was the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy some quality time together and make the most of a day out in the community.

One-on-one outings provide meaningful opportunities for participants to enjoy their favourite activities, make choices, build confidence and create special memories while spending time with trusted support staff.

It looks like Tony had a fantastic time with Grace, and judging by the smile, that strawberry milkshake was definitely a winner! 😄💙

What a wonderful day celebrating our beautiful Tori at Day Program! 💙🥳

Tori was surrounded by friends as everyone came together to help make her birthday extra special. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, birthday wishes and lots of happy memories shared throughout the day.

Birthdays are such a special opportunity to celebrate the amazing people in our Serendipity family, and it was lovely to see everyone joining in to make Tori feel loved and celebrated.
