I spent 3 amazing days at the Juvae Cosmetic Collective Conference last week, and once again I left feeling inspired, motivated and so grateful to be part of this incredible community.
This year was especially meaningful because it marked 10 years as part of the Juvae family. I was honoured to receive an award recognising that milestone, and it really made me reflect on how much I’ve learnt over the past decade.
The education, mentorship and friendships I’ve gained through Juvae have played such a big part in shaping both me and SkinLove Aesthetic Clinic.
This year’s conference was incredible. We heard from Darren Shand on leadership and resilience, and from Dr Van Park , , .abs and just to name a few. Topics on everything from facial anatomy, and patient safety to ethical, evidence-based practice and achieving beautiful, natural results were thoughtfully covered. The effects of weight loss on facial aging was a huge topic this year as we see a rise in GLP1 medication use.
One of the real highlights for me was being invited to an exclusive lunch with Dr Abs, where we had the opportunity to ask questions and learn from him in a much more intimate setting. Experiences like that are invaluable.
For me, education is about continually refining my skills, staying current with the latest evidence, and making sure every patient who walks through the doors of SkinLove receives the safest, most thoughtful and personalised care possible.
