As part of our Pink Month at Woodburn Health, we're hosting a Pink Morning Tea to help raise funds and show support for those affected by breast cancer and other illnesses.

📅 Tuesday 23rd June
⏰ Morning Tea from 10:00am

We'll have tea, coffee and a selection of delicious morning tea treats available for a gold coin donation.

Whether you're visiting the practice or simply passing by, we'd love for you to stop in, enjoy a cuppa, and help support a great cause 💗

Wear a touch of pink and join us as we come together to support, remember and celebrate the strength of those affected by cancer and illness.

💳 Why do I need to see Reception before I leave?

Woodburn Health is a bulk billing practice and it is a requirement that you complete an Assignment of Benefit.

This is a standard Medicare requirement and is to be completed at every visit. Completing this step before you leave helps ensure your Medicare claim is processed correctly and keeps our billing system running smoothly.

We're inviting local community members to be among the first to trial a new free Community Wayfinding Assistant, designed to help people find local activities, groups, services and supports that make it easier to stay connected, active and engaged.

We're especially keen to hear from:
✨ People with disability
✨ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
✨ LGBTQIA+ people
✨ People from culturally and linguistically diverse communities

You don't need to be tech-savvy to take part.

📅 Trial period: 8 June to 20 July 2026
📱 Access the tool on your phone, tablet or computer
📝 Complete 3 short surveys during the trial

🎁 Receive a $10 EFTPOS gift card for each survey completed (up to $30 total, conditions apply)

Places are limited, and participants will continue to have access to the Assistant when it launches.

Your feedback will help shape a tool designed to connect North Coast communities with the services, activities and support available in their local area.

This June, Woodburn Health will be adding small splashes of pink throughout the practice in support of those affected by breast cancer.

Breast cancer touches the lives of so many Australians — mothers, daughters, partners, friends, and families. For some, it represents strength and survival. For others, loss, uncertainty, or a journey still being faced today.

While breast cancer awareness is the focus this month, we also recognise that many members of our community are living with illness, chronic disease, grief, or cancer of many kinds. This is simply a gentle reminder that behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a story deserving of care, kindness, and compassion.

Nathan from Physio Plus will be consulting at Woodburn Health every Monday! 👋

Nathan grew up in Melbourne before making the move to the Gold Coast where he completed his physio degree. He has spent time managing the health of the Surfers Paradise soccer club and worked on the strength and conditioning team with the Carlton AFLW squad! Nathan has a real passion for helping people manage pain, recover from injuries, and get back to doing what they love. He takes a practical and supportive approach to recovery.

Outside the clinic, Nathan enjoys training, spending time with friends, watching sport, and discovering new cafes with his partner ☕️
