That little red box holds a lot of weight.

One of my favourite parts of any ceremony is watching the ring bearer take their role so seriously, and this little legend at Jane & Paris' wedding absolutely delivered. Such a special moment handing over those rings and making sure everything went perfectly.

The details, the nerves, the love, it all shows up in the smallest of moments. And this one? This one was everything.

Jane & Paris tied the knot at the most stunning private property in Glenlyon, and honestly, the setting made every moment feel even more magical. Congratulations you two your day was truly unforgettable.

Almost a month ago, I officiated the sweetest ceremony for these lovers at Cleveland Estate and it was perfection!

From the music selection, to the aisle entrance and THE cutest ring bearer I have ever seen, the day was as relaxed and chill as Clay and Charlie themselves.

Choosing your bridal party is one of those decisions that sounds simple… until you're actually doing it.

The truth? There's no rule that says you need a certain number of people, a perfectly matched group, or anyone at all standing beside you. The only thing that matters is that whoever's up there with you (or isn't) feels genuinely, unmistakably right for your day.

I know I posted this photo recently, but then this moment happened...

I recently bumped into Terri and Peter (thanks to Facebook Marketplace!). I married these lovely people back in 2022 in beautiful Daylesford, and honestly, it made my whole day to see them again. They weren't local at the time - they lived in the city. We had one of our planning meetings in Gisborne, when they were passing through after visiting their photographer. They fell so in love with this part of the world that they decided to make it home.

Now they're locals. My locals.

Being a part of a couple's story is so special, not just on the day, but in all the little ways that come after. Seeing familiar faces at the farmers market, a wave across a café, a chance encounter that reminds you why this work matters so much.
