The next three months of content are going to look like a sleep series. Yin yoga. Sauna. Evening meals. Abhyanga. Meditation. Movement. All the small things I weave through an ordinary day.
Underneath that, this is a dream series.
Because here's what twenty years on the mat and many seasons of Dream Language study and clients have taught me: the women (mostly) who interpret their dreams most fluently are, almost without exception, the women sleeping the most soundly. Not the longest. The most soundly. There's a difference, and it's the difference this season is going to unpack.
REM sleep, the stage where most dreaming happens, gets fragile when your nervous system never fully downshifts. A late heavy dinner, a monkey mind mind at 11pm, a body that's been wired all day and never moved through it: all of it chips away at the architecture your dreams need to form and, just as importantly, need to be remembered.
So every ritual I share this season is doing double duty. Supporting your rest, and quietly preparing the ground for the dream work.
None of this is a rigid checklist, either. Some nights it's yin. Other nights it's an early dinner and a walk on the beach. Some nights, it's a meditation or sound immersion that closes my working week and opens a slower weekend. (Thanks Dubarray!)
To start: notice what time you eat tonight. Notice what's still buzzing in your body an hour before bed.
That's where we're beginning.
๐ Two things coming up if you want to go deeper in person: Our ๐ฉ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ณ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด gathering is ๐ง๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ก๐ Monday 6 July, (a few places left for crafting) 6 to 8pm, and The Pause, our July one day retreat, is Sunday 26 July.
