Marc from Brother Fox and Alicia brings fresh hair cuts and big smiles to our residents

A Simple act of kindness can completely change someone's day this week ,our community experienced that first hand thanks to two incredible volunteers Marc and Alicia

Marc and Alicia generously gave up their valuable time to volunteer their professional services, providing free haircuts to our current residents
The impact of their visit went far and beyond a trim

For our residents a fresh haircut is a massive confidence Booster it is a powerful reminder that they are seen valued and important

It wasn't just about the scissors and clippers the afternoon was filled with wonderful conversations shared stories and plenty of laughs

Thank you both Marc and Alicia for proving to our residents that true kindness and compassion still exist, you both made a lasting difference and we are incredibly grateful for your big hearts

Yesterday Weigelli staff and 2 community members had the privilege of planting a beautiful gum tree at the Wiradjuri Centre in Condobolin, grown from their very own greenhouse.
This tree represents much more than new growth. It is a symbol of connection, healing, community and recovery, reflecting the past year of Recovery Meetings that Weigelli has been facilitating for the Condobolin community.

We are proud of the partnership we have built with Ally Coe and his team, and grateful for the ongoing support, commitment and shared vision to create positive opportunities for the Condobolin community.

As this gum tree grows and strengthens its roots, we hope it serves as a lasting reminder of the journey we are taking together — growing stronger, supporting recovery and creating connection within community.

Yesterday we were back at PCYC for Yalbillinga and Cowra LALC NAIDOC family fun day. The guys had a ball lending a hand and helping with the Cowra Rotary Club BBQ.
It was a deadly day!

We would like to congratulate two of our ladies, who put in a great effort in successfully completing the Out of the Dark Program. We would also extend our thanks to the team at the Cowra Information & Neighborhood Centre, for supporting our clients to achieve positive outcomes and help change their lives.

Today we kicked off NAIDOC week with the annual Cowra Council flag raising ceremony, followed by the Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre - CINC march and family fun day.

This year's NAIDOC theme is: 50 Years of Deadly, celebrating 5 decades of NAIDOC week and showcasing the culture, resilience and achievements of our deadly First Nations people.
