Dad-sby Roaring Father’s Day Affair! 🥂🎩

Our gents certainly knew how to celebrate Father’s Day in style! 😎 They donned their finest bow ties and dapper hats for our Dad-sby Roaring Father’s Day Affair. 🎩✨

It was a lively afternoon out in the courtyard, enjoying an ale or two 🍺, delicious nibbles and plenty of laughs and good company.

A fantastic afternoon celebrating our wonderful dads and the special gents at Killarney Court! ❤️

R U OK? Day at Rumabalara House Here at Rumabalara House, staff and residents came together in solidarity to acknowledge R U OK? Day. 💛

This year, we reflected on the important message that R U OK? can be any day, not just one day of the year.

A special thank you to Lauren for leading an informative conversation about what R U OK? Day is all about and reminding us of the importance of checking in with one another, every day.

We enjoyed a lovely morning tea with plenty of goodies while coming together to acknowledge this important message and the value of connection, conversation and support.

What a fantastic season of NRL tipping but, as they say, all good things must come to an end! 🏆

It was a season full of twists, turns and plenty of friendly rivalry, with the title seesawing from week to week. Nearly all of our competitors managed to claim Tipster of the Week at some point, making this one of the most hotly contested tipping competitions yet!

In the end, it all came down to the final three games… and the suspense was immense!

But when the dust settled, there could only be one winner…

PETER PAIN — THE 2026 KING TIPSTER!

Peter emerged victorious in the 2026 Rumbalara Tipping Competition, walking away with the winners' trophy after an incredible and nail-biting finish. It was fantastic to watch the friendly rivalry unfold throughout the season, and the determination of everyone involved made for one hell of a competition!

Peter has already vowed to take the trophy out again next year… but will the rest of the field let him?

Father’s Day Car Show! 🚗

Our gents from Killarney Court had a fantastic time at the Central Coast Leagues Vintage Drivers Club Car Show at Rumbalara House! 🎩🚘

They enjoyed admiring all the beautiful classic cars, chatting with the owners, and sharing plenty of stories and memories along the way. There was also some great entertainment from Dave Greville, which made for an even more enjoyable afternoon!

And then there were those who decided admiring the cars simply wasn’t enough… the music started, toes started tapping and bootes syarted shaking!

From classic cars to classic rock ’n’ roll, there were smiles all around, memories being made, and maybe even a few sore dancing feet afterwards!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special, to the Central Coast Leagues Vintage Drivers Club and to Dave Greville for bringing the rock ’n’ roll magic! 🎸🎤

THE MUCH-ANTICIPATED FATHER’S DAY RAFFLE DRAW!

It couldn’t have gone to a better family, our wonderful volunteer team, Louise and Pete Atton, were the lucky winners!

The draw took place in front of a massive crowd, with everyone eagerly hoping to take home the fantastic prize.

When Pete’s name was drawn, it didn’t take long for him to arrive and claim the prize, getting there just in time before Louise could get her hands on some of the goodies!

Congratulations to you both, Louise and Pete!

We all love our Dads, and what a fabulous Father’s Day celebration we had at Rumbalara House 💙

We discovered there were quite a few stories of wild pasts among our wonderful Dads before they decided to make Rumbalara House their home!

No Dad went without a special gift, with our arts and crafts class creating gorgeous handmade shirt-and-tie gifts, each filled with goodies. We then enjoyed a fabulous Father’s Day High Tea, followed by a little boot-stamping country entertainment at Dave Greville’s Country Jamboree! Fabulous!

There were plenty of hats, lots of smiles and even one very stylish pair of pink country-and-western boots, possibly the best we’ve ever seen!

It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, music, family and fun. Most importantly, it was a beautiful opportunity for families to come together, catch up and celebrate the amazing Dads who call Rumbalara House home.

A great day for our families and a great day for us all!

Residents from Vietnam Veterans celebrated Father’s Day with a special barbecue lunch, refreshing drinks and a delicious selection of desserts.

The residents also received a special gift to celebrate the occasion. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring all the men together, share memories and reminisce about their experiences as fathers and the special moments throughout their lives.

Everyone enjoyed the celebration, the delicious food and, most importantly, the opportunity to connect, share stories and enjoy each other’s company.
