The Humpback Highway has returned, and our Rumbalara House residents were lucky enough to witness this spectacular event firsthand.

With perfect sunshine, the perfect location, and a perfect view, our Residents were among the first to spot the magnificent humpback whales as they made their journey south. Watching these gentle giants glide through the water was a truly unforgettable experience.

It was one of those magical moments in time that will stay with us for years to come. Best of all, we didn't need our shark bait after all!

The Residents were absolutely amazed, with many describing the outing as a dream come true. For a few, it was even a chance to tick an item off their bucket list.

Killarney Court's bus out this week included a lovely morning tea at Diggers at The Entrance, where residents enjoyed delicious cakes, coffees, drinks, and plenty of conversation. ☕🍰

On our afternoon scenic outing to Wyee Point, residents were lucky enough to spot kangaroos along the way! Resident Jen even got up close and personal with them and said she “had an absolute ball” — as did everyone who attended. 🦘

Our bus outings are always filled with fun, laughter, and wonderful conversations between residents and staff alike.

Our Doggie Dates pet therapy monthly visits continue to be a favourite here at Killarney Court 🐶💙

This month, four beautiful puppies visited alongside their owners, spending time interacting with our residents and bringing plenty of smiles, pats, and joy to everyone involved.

These special visits always create a lovely atmosphere and are something our residents look forward to each month.

Residents at Rumbalara House enjoyed a wonderful King’s Birthday celebration on Monday!

The afternoon featured a delightful Royal High Tea, with residents treating themselves to delicious pikelets served with cream and jam while enjoying good company and conversation.

To complete the celebrations, everyone settled in for a special screening of The King’s Speech, making for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon filled with royal-themed festivities.

A lovely day was had by all.

Our Killarney Court residents celebrated the King’s Birthday in style with a regal afternoon tea fit for royalty! 👑☕

Residents enjoyed delicious scones with jam and cream, along with a choice of tea or coffee, while socialising with friends. They also put their knowledge to the test with some fun royal trivia.

A lovely social afternoon was enjoyed by all! 💙

Residents from Vietnam Veterans had an amazing day celebrating the King’s Birthday. They enjoyed a choice of three delicious lunch options, a variety of drinks, and dessert.

We also celebrated the birthdays of residents born in June, making the day even more special.

This activity provided a wonderful opportunity for residents to enjoy the festive atmosphere, watch staff dressed in royal-themed costumes, listen to music, and participate in a fun concert. The celebration brought smiles, laughter, and social interaction for everyone involved.

To celebrate Italy’s special day Festa della Repubblica our residents started the day with one of Italy’s most popular sporting events the Grand Prix! 🏁

Residents enjoyed our very own Killarney Court Grand Prix floor dice game, with the black Red Bull car racing to victory against the red Shell car, winning 4 races to 1!

Residents then enjoyed a delicious pizza lunch followed by a Bella Italia afternoon tea celebration, featuring an assortment of Italian biscuits, coffee and hot chocolate ☕🍪🍕

A wonderful day full of fun, laughter and Italian spirit for everyone involved!✨

Mamma Mia, it was pizza party time for our RH residents! Everyone enjoyed dining in the beautiful Secret Garden Italian Restaurant, where they feasted on delicious pizzas in the fresh outdoors. Filled with laughter, great conversation and plenty of tasty food. The day was a fantastic opportunity for residents to relax, socialise, and soak up the lovely atmosphere. We are already looking forward to the next dining experience.
