For Keith B***y the star of everyone's show.

There are some people who walk into a room and change it just by being there. Keith was one of them. It was the eyes first those sparkling blue eyes and then the smile that caught you the moment you saw it and never quite let you go. He had a charisma that couldn't be taught, a cheeky sense of humour, funny little jokes and playful tricks that kept us all on our toes and laughing. He was endearing in the truest sense of the word. And the love he gave came from a family who poured it into him so completely that it spilled out of Keith in every direction, to everyone he met.

In this work, we like to say we have a job. But that's not really what it is. We become a tribe. A family. It stops being about the clock or the hours, and you find yourself sitting with someone with no thought of time or pay, wanting only to give them everything you can so their life is the best life it can possibly be. You miss them when they're away on holidays, or when you have a few days off. You lie awake at night worrying when they're unwell. Your lives become entwined, even when you're apart and there's a word for that. It's a bond. It's human nature. It's love.

Which is why this day the day we've had to face saying goodbye to a one-and-only like Keith is such a hard one. We would have sat with you for a million more hours, holding your hand, playing your favourite songs, doing whatever we could to keep you here with us. But sometimes life, and God, have other plans. You were needed somewhere else, and you are free now free from all the pain.

You're the star of a bigger show now. But we know you're still watching over all of us. And in the saddest moments, we'll close our eyes and see that smile, those big blue sparkling eyes, spreading your love, your joy, and your cheeky ways.

You'll stay in a part of our hearts forever, Keith. You will never be forgotten.

You'll always be the star of our show.

And to all of Keith's beautiful family thank you. Thank you for trusting our team to be part of your lives and part of Keith's. To have shared in his journey was an honour and a gift to every one of us.

Rest easy, beautiful Keith. πŸ’™

Congratulations are in order β€” twice over! πŸŽ‰

Our incredible team has been recognised at the Enablement Awards for Excellence in Disability Services β€” a reflection of the heart, dedication and genuine care our people bring every single day. This one belongs to every staff member who shows up for our participants with compassion and purpose.

And the celebrations didn’t stop there. We proudly attended the 2026 ROAR Business Awards, where our one and only Ellen took home Silver for Employee of the Year! πŸ₯ˆ Ellen, your commitment, your spirit and the difference you make don’t go unnoticed β€” this recognition is so well deserved. We are beyond proud of you.

To our whole team: awards are lovely, but what they really represent is the trust our participants and families place in us, and the way you honour that trust with everything you do. Thank you for being the reason we get to celebrate moments like these. πŸ’œ Dance Dance DanceNDIS Ellen Saunders @ Sarah Macrae Roar

Dance Dance Dance Souths Junior Cricket Club

Souths Junior Cricket Club got the full treatment and WOW what a night. ✨

Massive shout out to our incredible Ramos and his phenomenal performers. The dancing, the singing, the costumes, the whole VIBE was next level. 🌟

This right here is what inclusion looks like when you give people the stage, they shine brighter than you could ever imagine. πŸ™Œ

⚽🦘 WHAT A DAY AT THE HUB! 🦘⚽

Today we didn’t just watch the World Cup β€” we LIVED it. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

For weeks our participants have been asking to experience a live sporting event together, and today the stars aligned. The Socceroos took on Paraguay LIVE at midday, and The Hub was absolutely buzzing for every single second of it. πŸ”₯

We had it ALL:
🦘 Not one but TWO inflatable boxing kangaroos guarding the front and back
🎢 A full choir belting out chants, cheers and the National Anthem as ONE
πŸ•Ί A World Cup dance mix that had everybody up and moving
⚽ Jerseys, tutus, soft soccer balls, banners and Aussie flags flying high
🎨 Socceroos trial kick offs at the hub and themed fun for everyone

πŸ¦… This Is What Person-Centred Really Looks Like

At our day program, the planning doesn’t start with us it starts with YOU.

Picture it: our group sitting together, sharing ideas, listening to what everyone wants to try next. Swimming theme days, local outings to brand new places, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, karaoke afternoons that bring the house down 🎀, superhero days, stepping back in time to a whole different era or event.

Our very own bowling league, budgeting and lifestyle skills, mindfulness sessions but always with a twist, because around here even the calm moments come with a little fun built in. πŸ’œ

That’s the magic of diversity in our team and our participants.

Different strengths, different interests, different dreams all coming together.

We support each other, we build real-life skills, and somehow the outcome is always the same: a whole lot of fun.

And here’s the best part our participants do the planning.

We just put it into action.

A family meeting sign-off on the upcoming program, and wah-la, it’s locked in and ready to go! ✨

This is what happens when the environment adapts to the person, not the other way around.

History was officially made on the red carpet! πŸ‘—βœ¨

The recent Met Gala attended by Hollywood A-listers saw the first ever wheelchair user attend the event – Model and Musician Aariana Rose Philip.

Seeing the fashion industry step up to ensure wheelchair users are celebrated on the world stage is the kind of pop-culture news we love to see!
