Services Australia mobile office will be visiting Yarra junction on the 24 June 9am - 4pm. Located at the Yarra Centre carpark on Warburton Highway.
Staff can assist with Medicare and Centrelink services as well as provide information on Department of Veterans Affairs and the NDIS services.

Role: Practice Manager – Full time – Yarra Junction Medical Centre

Due to the upcoming retirement of our longstanding Practice Manager, we are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a well-established and respected role within a supportive and community-focused medical practice.

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the clinic, supporting doctors and staff while ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage both people and processes effectively. We are seeking a friendly team player to lead our current team.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all administrative and operational aspects of the practice including staff supervision and resource planning
- Recruitment of staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and high quality patient care
- Collaborate with the clinical team to identify and implement process improvements
- Manage patient relations, including handling inquiries, complaints and feedback
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and RACGP standards
- Lead and mentor the administrative team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the practice.

What we are looking for

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a General Practice Management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Thorough understanding of RACGP standards for General Practice
- Experience with Best Practice management software is preferred
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive work environment
