After we banned Fay from taking part in this raffle we have a new winner. Congratulations Alison Butterworth on winning this print of “The temple of the four winds” for our Dry July raffle. The raffle raised almost $250 and collectively we raised $6000 for the Yarragon Community group effort.

You might have noticed over the last couple of weeks we’ve had a spruce up of our signage. The more eagle eyed of you might have also noticed our little homage to our recent retiree Jennifer Ellery. Inspired by the sports stadiums we’ve named this gondola after her as a way of honouring the 16+ years she had dedicated herself to Yarragon pharmacy from the day we opened until March this year.
Jen will be in at 11am Friday morning to cut the ribbon and officially open the digestive health gondola bay. Afterwards she will help draw our Dry July raffle.
If you want to come down for the official opening it’ll be 11am Friday 31st July.

Less than a week to go, draw will take place next Friday so make sure you buy your tickets before then.

I’ve been roped into doing Dry July by Brendon Van Eyk of Elders real estate. He and his family are doing Dry July for Yarragon community in honour of there friend who recently passed, Kim Bilston. She was also a beloved customer of ours and so not only am I participating in the commitment of remaining sober for July, I’m also putting this framed print up for raffle. So please support by making a donation or alternatively buy some raffle tickets in store or both. All money will go towards the Dry July charity and aids in the fight against Cancer.

Due to the looming fuel crisis we’re branching out, in conjunction with staff member Deonnie Blackshaw we will be launching our HIRE-A-HORSE scheme. I’ve been reliably informed that you can reasonably expect to get 56 miles to the haybale and even up to 64 if ridden conservatively. With there 4 hoof technology you can expect to be able to take them off road.
Looking for extra load capacity, we have saddle bags included or wagons and carriages for moving those larger purchases, surcharges apply.
Being 100% green you can apply for a tax rebate on the hire charge and purchase of any hay bales. Talk to your accountant for details.
