Protect Yourself, Protect Your Community
Immunisation is one of the simplest, safest and most effective ways to protect yourself, your family, and those around you from serious diseases. Vaccines help prevent illness, reduce complications, and keep our communities healthier.
The Australian Government's National Immunisation Program provides free vaccines for eligible people at different stages of life, from childhood through to adulthood. Staying up to date with recommended vaccinations is an important step in protecting your health.
Vaccination can help protect against:
• Influenza (flu)
• COVID-19
• Whooping cough
• RSV
• Other vaccine-preventable diseases
Parents are encouraged to keep their children's immunisations up to date, while older Australians and pregnant women should check which vaccines are recommended for them.
Not sure if you're up to date? Check your immunisation history and speak with your healthcare provider about recommended vaccinations.
