Clem's Shed

Clem's Shed Open Tuesday 0830 am to 1230 pm and Thursday0830 am to 1230 pm or by appointment.

Clem’s Shed at Yorketown helps men, particularly as they get older, to connect with each other preventing social isolation and preventable health conditions, whilst supporting men’s physical and mental health and wellbeing. We provide a sense of community, a safe and friendly environment where men can work on meaningful projects at their own pace, in their own time, in the company of other men. Members have an opportunity to pass their skills to others, learn new things, or just catch up regularly with other men in the community for a chat and a cup of tea. Shed Activities include Wood work, metal work, community gardening and maintenance on community projects

It's been a very busy and productive couple of months, with plenty happening around the shed.
Our new shed has been delivered, the pad has been levelled, the holes have been dug, and the stormwater is ready to go. A big thank you to all the members who have lent a hand—it couldn't have happened without your support.

The new kitchen is now complete, with the tiling finished and already getting plenty of use.

An air conditioner is due to be installed in the current meeting shed soon, making it a much more comfortable space for everyone.

Ian, Tony and Walter have been busy working on various projects, while many other members have been helping by dismantling pallets in preparation for future projects. Every contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated.

We've also been fortunate to receive some very generous donations of timber, doors and furniture, all of which will be put to good use in upcoming projects.

Don't forget, we still have plenty of kindling available for sale:

BYO bag – $5
We supply the bag – $7
We also have three ladies' chairs for sale. If you're interested, make us an offer!

New Men’s Group on the Yorke Peninsula
For men looking for a monthly catch-up, a Men’s Table is launching in Minlaton on Monday the 1 June.
A Men’s Table is a small, consistent group of 8 to 12 men who meet at the same venue each month. It is the same men around the table each time, which helps build trust, connection and real conversation over time.
The group talks openly about life, the highs, the lows and everything in between, and has other men genuinely listen. It is about going beyond banter and sharing what is really going on. There is no agenda, no pressure and no membership fee. Men simply pay for their own meal and enjoy a safe and relaxed setting. Men of all ages (18+), professions and backgrounds are welcome.
The introductory dinner will be held at Caffe Primo Minlaton. For more information and to register, visit https://events.humanitix.com/yorke-peninsula-entree
Registration includes your dinner. Spots are limited, so bookings are essential.
If you would like to know more, visit www.themenstable.org or call Ben on 0492 974 860.
