Nunca me canso de comenzar una sesión psicológica comprendiendo si quien tengo en frente está respetando y cumpliendo las cinco necesidades esenciales del cuerpo. Mientras la mente desea muchas cosas, el cuerpo solo requiere cinco acciones diariamente:
1. Respiración consciente.
2. Hidratación adecuada, personalizada según tu peso, altura, edad, nivel de actividad y clima.
3. Nutrición que sea saludable y que cubra las necesidades de tu cuerpo de grasas, proteínas y minerales. (Nota que no mencioné carbohidratos ni ☠️ azúcar)
4. Movimiento enfocado en la resistencia, que ha sido esencial para los humanos desde el principio de los tiempos.
5. Sueño profundo y reparador que esté alineado con tus ritmos circadianos.
Si alguna de estas necesidades no se cumple, el cuerpo puede desequilibrarse y volverse propenso a la inflamación. Un cuerpo inflamado y desequilibrado = una mente inflamada y desequilibrada. Concéntrate en lo que realmente importa: cómo se siente tu cuerpo. I never tire of starting a psychological session by understanding whether the five essential needs of the body are being honored and met. While the mind desires many things, the body only requires five key actions daily:

1. Conscious breathing. Becoming present in your body = the Now
2. Proper hydration, personalized according to your weight, height, age, level of activity, and climate.
3. Nutrition that is wholesome and meets your body's needs for fats, proteins, and minerals. (Notice I did not mention carbs or ☠️ sugar)
4. Movement focused on resistance, which has been essential for humans since the beginning of time.
5. Deep and restorative sleep that aligns with your circadian rhythms.

If any of these needs are unmet, the body may become unbalanced and prone to inflammation. An inflamed and unbalanced body = an inflamed and unbalanced mind.
