If this is what people are saying after the workshop… you’ll want to hear what’s coming next.

And honestly? That’s just the beginning.

I’ll be breaking down everything this Saturday,27th June at 11 a.m. on IG Live... what it is, who it’s for, and how it can support you if you’re tired of doing nutrition alone.

Turn up live. You might realise this is exactly what you’ve been looking for.

I’ve said it several times on here, but I struggle with promoting my business. While I’m proud of the work I do, there are still many misconceptions about what nutritionists actually do. It’s rarely as simple as a meal plan or a food that magically makes body fat melt away.

Everybody thinks they know about food because they eat it. And while that's true to some extent, it doesn't mean they understand nutrition science, the complexities of the social determinants of health, or the considerations needed when supporting specific health conditions. Some of the nutrition advice I’ve heard from unqualified individuals is honestly quite concerning. Complex processes like metabolism are often oversimplified, and recommendations are handed out without considering a person's medical history, medications, lifestyle, culture, relationship with food, or access to resources.

Trying to figure out nutrition on your own can be frustrating at best and, at times, dangerous. Following advice from social media, well-meaning friends, influencers, or wellness trends can lead to nutrient deficiencies, unnecessary food restrictions, worsening health conditions, or delayed medical care.

Many people are now turning to AI for nutrition advice. As someone who uses AI myself, I understand its benefits ...but I also understand its limitations. AI can make up information, miss important context, and provide recommendations that aren't appropriate for your unique circumstances. Even when it comes to natural remedies, the answer is often: it depends.

Working with a qualified nutrition professional means receiving evidence-based, personalised guidance that considers you as a whole person—not just your symptoms, body size, or a trend you've seen online.

If you're tired of sorting through conflicting nutrition advice and want support tailored to your needs, I'd love to help. Send me a DM to book a 1:1 consultation and let's work together to find an approach to nutrition that is realistic, sustainable, and right for you.

Whew, chile, the year is flying! We're almost halfway through 2026. But I told you this was the year we are attacking that hurdle. Up to this point, I have been juggling:
🤳🏽Maintaining my posting at least weekly *knock on wood*,
👩🏽‍💻Seeing my private clients
💬Networking and showing up even if I feel afraid
🗣️Updating and hosting group education programmes like Not a Summer Body in an updated format
And…

Bet you want to know!
If you join me on Saturday, 27th June 2026 at 11:00 a.m. on Instagram live, I’ll share another update you don’t want to miss.

One of the biggest parallels I see between building a business and supporting clients with their nutrition is this:

Neither happens overnight.

We live in a culture that celebrates quick results, but lasting change is usually built through small actions repeated consistently over time. So while you may not see me posting results of the clients I’ve worked with, it doesn’t mean that their progress doesn’t exist.

It's interesting how we often connect certain foods with personality traits and characteristics. Food is about so much more than nutrients—it's part of our stories, traditions, and even how we see ourselves.

Happy Monday and welcome to June!

Choosing to start off the week with some thought-provoking myths! Many of these myths are based on actual conversations with clients and misinformation about the science of nutrition.

What are some other myths or nutrition questions, you’d want me to address?

On another note, we’re almost half-way through 2026😱 Every year I feel like I say it’s going so fast, but this year makes it feel like an understatement.

People know that breakfast is a really important meal, yet why aren’t more of us having it before starting our day?

Last week, I talked about fasting and honestly, every night we fast. Breakfast is the meal that breaks that fast. I’ve had clients tell me they’re not “a breakfast person” as a reason for why they don’t have it. Let’s break down why not having breakfast may be curtailing your health goals.

One thing about me, I will be eating breakfast. That was instilled by both my parents. AND it’s a practice rooted in scientific evidence, that’s the icing on the cake.

If you could have any food for breakfast what would it be?

You're that person everyone calls on to problem- solve,
You're the warm relative who comforts,
You're the friend who always lifts spirits,
You're the type of ride-or-die they write about in movies and books.
