Project ACTIVE🇧🇧 school tour was a resounding success!

When we launched Project ACTIVE, our goal wasn’t simply to visit schools. We wanted to create impact in how children, teachers, parents, and communities think about movement and health.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been proud to see those objectives come to life.

✅ We complemented the existing School Nutrition Policy by adding an engaging physical activity component, reinforcing that healthy children need both good nutrition and regular movement.

✅ We showed that exercise can be fun, inclusive, and something every child can enjoy—regardless of age, ability, or background.

✅ We highlighted physiotherapists as movement experts, demonstrating that our profession is about promoting health, preventing disease, and helping people move well throughout life—not only rehabilitation after injury.

✅ We educated children and teachers about the vital role physical activity plays in reducing the risk of non-communicable diseases while building healthier habits from an early age.

Seeing children laugh, learn, move, and leave excited about being active has been the greatest measure of success.

Thank you to every school, teacher, parent, student, volunteer, and partner who helped make Project ACTIVE possible. Special thanks to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados and the Barbados Childhood Obesity Prevention Coalition for partnering with us on this initiative.
St. Lucy Primary School

The media coverage has helped amplify our message, but this is only the beginning.

Together, we’re building a healthier, more active generation—one school, one child, and one movement at a time.

Movement is for EVERY body. 💙

Last week, Project ACTIVE had the privilege of spending time at The Irving Wilson School with children of varying abilities, including children with autism, hearing challenges, and other disabilities.

One thing became clear: the joy of movement belongs to everyone!

Physical activity isn’t about ability—it’s about opportunity, inclusion, confidence, and fun.

Because when we create inclusive spaces, every child can play, learn, grow, and shine. ✨

Healthy habits. Happy kids.
Play more. Sit less. Feel your best.

Part 2️⃣ of our Project ACTIVE video series is all about MOVEMENT 💥

Exercise isn’t one-size-fits-all — kids can stay active through play, sports, dancing, jumping, running, cycling, swimming and so much more! 🏃🏽‍♀️⚽🚴🏽‍♂️💃🏽

The goal is simple: make movement fun, enjoyable, and part of everyday life.

Listen to hear these kids teach us about the different types of exercise 💙

Play more. Sit less. Feel your best.

Part 1️⃣ of our Project ACTIVE video series is here! 🎬

In a world where screens are taking over playtime, sometimes all it takes is one friend to say: “Come play let’s play.” 💙⚽🏃🏽‍♀️

Movement should be part of childhood — not a chore, but fun, laughter, connection, and adventure.

Healthy habits start young.
Play more. Sit less. Feel your best.

Stay tuned for part 2️⃣
