At just a year and a half old, Corey McClean broke his leg. His mum was told that while he would be able to walk, he would never be able to run. Fast forward to today, and Corey is a marathoner who has even built his own run club. 🙌🏾
In this interview, Corey sits down with Dr. Sandra Vaughan to talk about his running journey, the challenges he has overcome, and what it means to defy the expectations that were placed on him from such a young age. His story is also a powerful reminder of the connection between running and physiotherapy. Through physiotherapy, consistent work, and the partnership between Corey and Dr. Vaughan, he has been able to build his strength, improve his movement, and continue doing what he was once told he would never do: run.
We hope Corey’s story inspires someone out there to keep going, keep believing, and never let someone else’s prediction become your limitation 🏃💙
