অত্যন্ত দুঃখের সাথে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, কিংবদন্তি চক্ষু বিশেষজ্ঞ, দক্ষ প্রশাসক, মানবিক ব্যক্তিত্ব, চট্টগ্রাম চক্ষু হাসপাতাল ও প্রশিক্ষণ কেন্দ্র ও ইম্পেরিয়াল হাসপাতাল লিমিটেডের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা এবং ইনস্টিটিউট অব কমিউনিটি অপথালমোলজির প্রতিষ্ঠাতা পরিচালক প্রফেসর ডা. রবিউল হোসেন স্যার আজ ২৭.০৬.২০২৬ইং তারিখ, শনিবার, আনুমানিক দুপুর ১২:৩০ মিনিটে ইম্পেরিয়াল হাসপাতালে ইন্তেকাল করেছেন।

তাঁর মৃত্যুতে মাজহারুল হক বিএনএসবি চক্ষু হাসপাতাল, চাদপুর পরিবার গভীরভাবে শোকাহত। চিকিৎসা, শিক্ষা ও মানবসেবায় তাঁর অসামান্য অবদান চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবে।

আল্লাহ তাআলা মরহুমকে জান্নাতুল ফিরদাউস নসীব করুন এবং শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবার, সহকর্মী, শিক্ষার্থী ও শুভানুধ্যায়ীদের ধৈর্য ধারণের তাওফিক দান করুন।

Gemeinsam mit der Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern - Spendenmarathon bauen wir einen neuen Operationssaal für Kinder in Chandpur auf.

Viele Kinder leben mit Sehproblemen, die behandelbar wären. Gleichzeitig fehlt oft der Zugang zu guter medizinischer Versorgung.

„Wenn ein Kind wieder sehen kann, verändert sich seine ganze Welt“, sagt Wolfram Kons von der Stiftung RTL. Genau darum geht es: Kindern wieder Chancen zum Lernen, Spielen und Entdecken zu ermöglichen.

Mit der Unterstützung aus dem RTL Spendenmarathon werden möglich:

👓 Brillen für Kinder
🏥 Mehr dringend notwendige Augenoperationen

১৫ অক্টোবর ২০২৫ 'সাদাছড়ির আধুনিকায়ন, দৃষ্টি প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তির উন্নয়ন'- এই প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে জেলা প্রশাসন, চাঁদপুর এবং প্রতিবন্ধী সেবা ও সাহায্য কেন্দ্রের আয়োজনে মাজহারুল হক বিএনএসবি চক্ষু হাসপাতালের সহযোগীতায় বিশ্ব সাদাছড়ি নিরাপত্তা দিবস ২০২৫ উপলক্ষে র‍্যালি, আলোচনা সভা এবং বিনামূল্যে চক্ষু চিকিৎসা শিবিরের আয়োজন করা হয়।
জেলা প্রশাসকের কার্যালয়, চাঁদপুর এর সম্মুখে র‍্যালি শেষে বিনামূল্যে চক্ষু চিকিৎসা শিবির উদ্বোধন করেন চাঁদপুর জেলার জেলা প্রশাসক ও বিজ্ঞ জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট জনাব মোহাম্মদ মোহসীন উদ্দিন। চক্ষু চিকিৎসা শিবিরের মাধ্যমে অসহায় গরীবদের মাঝে বিনামূল্যে চক্ষু চিকিৎসা এবং ঔষধ দেয়া হয়। এরপর জেলা প্রশাসকের কার্যালয় এর সম্মেলনকক্ষে একটি আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। আলোচনা সভায় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জনাব মোহাম্মদ মোহসীন উদ্দিন, জেলা প্রশাসক, চাঁদপুর এবং সভাপতিত্ব করেন অতিরিক্ত জেলা প্রশাসক (সার্বিক), চাঁদপুর জনাব মো: এরশাদ উদ্দিন। সভায় বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন জনাব মোঃ লুৎফর রহমান, অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ সুপার (ক্রাইম অ্যান্ড অপস্), চাঁদপুর। এছাড়াও আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন সরকারি বিভিন্ন দপ্তরের কর্মকর্তাগণ, গণমাধ্যমকর্মী এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট অংশীজন।
আলোচনা সভা শেষে দৃষ্টি প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তিদের মাঝে সাদাছড়ি বিতরণ করা হয়।
