Through this session, you will learn how to:
- Understand emotions and mental health challenges.
- Support friends and peers with empathy.
- Build emotional resilience and healthy coping skills.
- Create safer spaces for open and meaningful conversations.
- Become a youth advocate for mental well-being in your community.

This is more than just a workshop it’s a movement driven by young people who believe kindness, connection, and compassion can create real change.

Shyamnagar Sadar, your young changemakers gave us hope for the future.

In the heart of the Sundarban region, we met passionate youth who are not only dreaming of change but actively creating it. From conversations on mental well-being to discussions around climate resilience, every moment reminded us how powerful young voices can be when they come together with purpose.

Living in a climate-vulnerable region shaped by cyclones, rising waters, and uncertainty is not easy. Yet the youth of Shyamnagar continue to lead with courage, compassion, and determination for a better future.

Every idea shared, every story told, and every connection built inspired the MindFirst team beyond words.

A heartfelt thank you to all the incredible youth participants who welcomed us with such warmth and energy. Your commitment to wellbeing, community, and climate action truly reflects the spirit of the Sundarban.

And honestly… we already can’t wait to come back again.

In the heart of the Sundarban, we found stories of strength, resilience, and hope.

Our time at Burigoalini Forest Secondary School in Shyamnagar reminded us that mental wellbeing and climate realities are deeply connected. Growing up in a region shaped by cyclones, rising waters, and environmental uncertainty takes incredible courage. And yet, the young people here continue to dream, learn, and stand strong for their future.

Every conversation, every smile, and every shared moment inspired the MindFirst team beyond words.

A heartfelt thank you to the students, teachers, and community members who welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness. And special appreciation to the school community for walking beside us in this journey toward wellbeing, resilience, and climate awareness in the Sundarban region.

Shyamnagar, your voices matter. Your stories matter. And this is only the beginning.
