Paces walk MRCP Founder and CEO Dr Shadly Tausif Amim is awarded FRCP(Edin) for his continuous endeavour and contribution in field of Medicine and Cardiology. RCPE conducted new Fellows admission ceremony on 19th June 2026 in Edinburgh where Dr Shadly received Fellowship from RCPE President. This is truly a special day for Paces Walk MRCP family and our well wishers.

This a not only a great honour but also a new responsibility to contribute more in field of medical science and research. This acknowledgement from RCPE is reflection of their judgement to inspire those who really love medicine and dedicate their life to spread magical lessons of medicine among fresh graduates.

Thank you everyone for always staying with Paces Walk MRCP and all the prayers for us in this long journey since 2018.

The nomenclature of anterior infarction can be confusing, with multiple different terms used for the various infarction patterns. The following is a simplified approach to naming the different types of anterior MI.

The precordial leads can be classified as follows:

Septal leads = V1-2
Anterior leads = V3-4
Lateral leads = V5-6
🎶🎶The different infarct patterns are named according to the leads with maximal ST elevation:

Septal = V1-2
Anterior = V2-5
Anteroseptal = V1-4
Anterolateral = V3-6, I + aVL
Extensive anterior / anterolateral = V1-6, I + aVL
