Colorectal surgery is evolving rapidly with advances in minimally invasive techniques, robotics, precision oncology, enhanced recovery, and multidisciplinary care. However, the real success of innovation lies in how effectively we can adapt these advances to our own patients, resources, and healthcare systems.
It is my great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the BSCRS Congress 2026. This years theme- “Colorectal Surgery – Global Innovation, Local Impact" truly reflects the purpose of our gathering.
Through this conference, we hope to bring global ideas closer to local practice, encourage meaningful academic exchange, and explore practical solutions to the challenges we face in Bangladesh and beyond.
I sincerely thank our distinguished international and national faculties, delegates, colleagues, sponsors, advisors and the entire organizing team for their valuable contribution and support.
