World Asthma Day 2026

“Access to anti-inflammatory inhaler for everyone with asthma — still an urgent need.”

Asthma is a controllable disease, yet many people in Bangladesh still do not receive the treatment they need. Relief inhalers alone are not enough—regular anti-inflammatory inhalers are the foundation of effective asthma control.

Misconceptions, limited awareness, and cost barriers continue to prevent many patients from accessing proper care.

On this World Asthma Day, Bangladesh Lung Foundation renews its commitment to raising awareness and advocating for accessible, evidence-based asthma treatment for every patient.

Breathing is not a privilege—it is a basic human right.
