The BLF PTLD working group had an informal dinner and meeting with Prof G. B. Migliori, world expert on TB and PTLD, currently the Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases, Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases.

He shared his observations on the success of the PTLD project and the transformative effect it has had on PTLD patients.

He was amazed at the reach and activities of BLF and had an engaging discussion with all members, exploring how to expand our impact nationally and globally.

Asthma is a controllable disease, yet many people in Bangladesh still do not receive the treatment they need. Relief inhalers alone are not enough—regular anti-inflammatory inhalers are the foundation of effective asthma control.

Misconceptions, limited awareness, and cost barriers continue to prevent many patients from accessing proper care.

On this World Asthma Day, Bangladesh Lung Foundation renews its commitment to raising awareness and advocating for accessible, evidence-based asthma treatment for every patient.
