🇧🇩 Just few days back had the privilege of attending a truly enriching program on Aortic Interventions as a faculty member.
🙏 It was an honor to share insights and engage in thought-provoking discussions alongside some of the most esteemed aortic surgeons and interventionists in the field.

♻️ The exchange of knowledge, the depth of clinical experience, and the collaborative spirit made it a memorable and inspiring event. Grateful to be part of such a dedicated community pushing the boundaries of aortic care.

Carorid Endarterectomy under Local anaesthesia.
55 years male with a history of CVA. Occlusion of Rt carotid artery.

ENDOVASCULAR ANEURYSM REPAIR -14
(EVAR) under Subarachnoid block (SAB):

64 Years Male presented with a pulsatile abdominal lump. CT Angiogram reveals Chronic dissecting abdiminal aorta ameurysm >5.5cm. Hypertensive, CKD.
Endovascular Aneyrysm repair done under SAB on 7/10/23. Bilateral femoral artery cut down. Main body(23x13x145mm Endurant II, Medtronic USA) delivered through Left femoral and deployed below renal artery. Contralateral limb(16x13x82mm Endurant II, Medtronic USA) deployed keeping Right internal iliac artery open. Total procedure time less then 2 hour. The patient is on his feet from next morning.

Endovascular Anerysm Repair-13
(TEVAR)
74 yrs Male with Aneurysm of descending Thoracic Aorta. Successful Endovascular repair with 2x Valiant Captivia thoracic stent graft (Medtronic, USA)
Max dia 9.5cm; Aneurysm length 150mm; good proximal and distal landing zone.
Entry: Rt Femoral exposure and Lt Femoral puncture.
Pre procedural spinal drainage to prevent possible spinal cord ischaemia.
Perioperative measures to prevent renal damage as patient have CKD.
Bottoms up technique - First device (28x28x150mm) deployed distally above coeliac ; Second device (34x34x200mm) deployed proximally distal to Lt Subclavian artery.
Procedure and post procedure period was uneventful. Patient discharge home on 4th POD.
