Try commenting:

Why?

Because children need to hear language being used naturally—not just answer questions.

Around this age, children may begin telling simple stories about things they've experienced.

It might sound like:

“We went park. Saw dog. Dog run!” 🐶

It doesn't have to be a perfect story.

You can help by asking:

➡️ What happened?
➡️ What happened next?

Then add a little language:

“Yes! We went to the park and saw a big dog.”

Iqra Muntaha and Fariha Sultana, for successfully completing the “PROMPT Technique” training by the PROMPT Institute, Mexico, USA. 🌍🗣️

This 3-day hands-on training introduced the PROMPT approach, a tactile-kinesthetic method used by Speech-Language Pathologists to support speech production and motor speech skills.

PROMPT can be particularly relevant when children experience challenges with speech motor planning, movement, and coordination, helping therapists provide more targeted and individualized support.

At Sparkling Insight Therapy, we believe continuous professional learning helps us provide better, more informed support to the children and families we serve. ❤️
