So today is a very special day and a new milestone for my professional life.

I have been honored with "Long service Award" by "Asgar Ali Hospital" for 10 long years of my career as the founder and the Co-ordinator of the Derpartment of Dermatology since 2016.

I am humbled and truly honored.

All thanks to the Almighty, my loving family, my awesome friends, my learned mentors, my generous colleagues, my lovely followers and my kind Patients for supporting me throughout my journey. You all have been my motivation, my patience, my driving force.

Closed comedone treatment with CO2 laser.

Salam everyone

Let's know something about closed comedones today. These are tiny little bumps that may appear on your face, back, thighs - mostly following the irrational use of whitening creams / steroid.

They usually do not go away with conventional medication hence we have to perform laser extraction to get rid of them.

Let's talk about an interesting case today. It's called " ".

Now in the pictures you can see a patient of mine who lives in a middle-eastern country and works out in the sun. Suddenly he saw his skin color was changing and in no time it started blistering. It was very painful and itchy. It kept on deterioting and reached a point where he had to take a leave from his work and come back to Bangladesh for treatment as he didn't improve with the medication suggested there.

This is actually a form of allergy towards extreme heat and sunlight. With right kind of treatment protocol and advice the patient showed great improvements.

Salam Everyone

Let's talk about Oral 'Mucocele' today ,also known as "Mucous retention Cyst".

Patient complaints of a swelling inside the lips, usually not painful (if not infected) but causes trouble while chewing and slowly grows bigger with time.

As they do not get better with medicine, previously these cases were dealt by surgeons where it had to be cut out and sutures (stitches) were needed.
However, thanks to modern Dermatology advancement and techniques that now we can do it without cutting/bleeding and there are no visible scars following the procedure.

Salam everyone..

Here is a video demonstration of CO2 laser for all my followers. This was a case of Seb. Keratosis. A lot of people have wrong ideas about laser procedures whereas this surgery is actually one of the most convenient techniques for the patients. It results in almost no disfigurement and no bleeding aswel as no pain.

I will be off to Turkey for a conference on 13th of this month (13.04.2025) and I will be back on 18th InshAllah. I will start seeing patients from 19.04.2025 hopefully.

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend my Asgar Ali Hospital's chamber tomorrow (12.05.205) but I will be available at "Feroz Skin Center" from 4:00 pm onwards.
